Virat Kohli: It feels great to get this win in the bag. I always felt confident of the score we had at the halfway stage and kept telling that to the team in the dressing room. I like playing innings like these as well. Generally I like to take my time and settle in, but today, I backed myself to hit the ball from the get go and it came off. When I played similar shots against Australia back in the 2016 T20 World Cup, I felt like hitting every ball confidently. Things have changed now, but it still feels good to know that the game is there and can be brought out if and when need be. I caught them pretty safely in the field as well, so that just adds to the confidence.

You cannot tell what exactly is a good score with this 'new batter rule' coming in, but I thought our seamers in the first six overs won us the game. Faf came and told me that it was holding a little bit so I backed my strength and bowled the slower ones a little more than usual. I have been working on the knuckle ball for two overs. Faf came and told me that I can go for the slower one. I was not ready to bowl the knuckle ball. The management told to go out there and express myself. I was a net bowler so I was just helping the boys.

David Warner (Delhi Capitals skipper): Yeah look I said we had to do both disciplines well but we lost wickets and didn't build partnerships. It should have been an easy one but we didn't come up trumps. Run outs are non-negotiable in this format and they can cost you the game. The positives were great with the bowling and fielding were exceptional. It's just our batting. We have to work out how to take on the powerplay and not lose wickets - especially in the first two-three overs. Things aren't working at the moment. Teams have won from five-nothing and hopefully we are the second team.

We were talking about whether Delhi Capitals will be able to dominate RCB's spin attack or not, but the kind of damage the seamers inflicted on a rather fragile batting line-up, took David Warner's side's breath away!

It all began with the run out of Impact Sub Prithvi Shaw, who decided to take a risky run and went back to the pavilion without scoring a run. After that, Mohammed Siraj, Wayne Parnell and Vijaykumar Vyshak wreaked havoc and broke the back of the opposition batting line-up.

Only Wanindu Hasaranga took a bit of tap but managed to pick up a wicket right at the end of his third over to be among the wickets, which is quite usual for him.

Manish Pandey was the only half-centurion for the Delhi Capitals and it was great to watch him perform so well. But he needed support from the other end, which he hardly got! Axar Patel came out to bat as low as number 7 and it was just too much of an ask for him at that stage to bail the team out of trouble, even with the kind of batting form he was in.

The overall fielding from RCB, as well as, the captaincy from Faf du Plessis, were highly impressive. The decision to play and give Vyshak the responsibility, paid off big time!

So, with this home win, Royal Challengers Bangalore get their second win and move to 4 points. Delhi Capitals are yet to register a win after five matches.
