FT: Real Madrid 2-1 Celta Vigo. An evenly fought goalless first half that only had Modric's shot cannon off the crossbar as a highlight; then saw the game explode into life in the second half.
Alvaro Morata gave Real Madrid the lead with a contentious opener, as he looked to be offside and interfered with play in the build up. However, Celta Vigo displayed why they were 6th last season by only remaining behind for 6 minutes, as Orellana's long range beauty drew the Galacians level.
However, up stepped Toni Kroos to win the game for Real Madrid with 9 minutes to go, as he rifled in a measured low drive like the best German sniper to underline Real Madrid's first home win of the season.
