They started off well beating the Chinese Taipei pair but went down in straight games to the World No 1 Indonesian pair but put it across in style against Great Britain.

The Indians had a mix of everything - aggression, perseverance and talent. They latched on to the opportunities, they played the waiting game indulging opponents in rallies and then used their talent to the hilt to read the situation in an instant and act.
