Non-availability of hotel rooms in Cuttack has forced the Indian and England cricket teams to stay in Pune till Wednesday morning. The hotel rooms in which the teams were to stay have been already booked for wedding purposes. The second ODI is to be played in Cuttack on Thursday."The teams will be coming to Cuttack on Wednesday at 11.30 am and train around 4 pm in the afternoon. Actually, the hotel is overbooked till Tuesday and there are no rooms available for the teams. But rooms are available from Wednesday and so the delay in the travel plans," informed the Orissa Cricket Association(OCA) secretary Ashirbad Behera.“Everything is in order and we are hoping that match will be a great success. As for the hotels, we can’t really help. We can only book rooms when it is available,” added Behera sounding his helplessness over the issue.
The Indian team is scheduled to train in Pune on Tuesday after a day’s break from their emphatic win over England in the first ODI. Meanwhile, the atmosphere for the Cuttack ODI will be electrifying as OCA has announced a complete sell-out for the match.India will look to take an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the three-match ODI series at Cuttack.
