World No. 2 and top seed in the men's singles draw at the Senior Badminton National Championships, Srikanth Kidambi will play his second match of the day in order to seal a spot in the final four of the competition. He will be up against Shubham Prajapati, who is the eighth seed.

Srikanth had an easy outing in his earlier match, as he recorded a routine victory over youngster Aryaman Tandon. After a slightly slow start, the six-time Super Series title winner picked up the pace and took the first game 21-14. The second game saw Srikanth take the match comfortably, as it finished 21-13.

Prajapati comes into the match off the back of a two-game win over Bodhit Joshi, where he took the first game narrowly at 21-19, before winning the second 21-16.
