Right then, it has been an absolute pleasure bringing to you the live action from Season 1 of Ultimate Kho Kho! We hope you enjoyed the coverage! The tournament has been nothing short of enthralling and just to cap it off, we have had an absolute edge-of-the-seat thriller! That caps off Ultimate Kho Kho 2022! The world of kho kho has entered into a new dawn with the birth of Ultimate Kho Kho and expect it to only rise from here on. Seems like just yesterday when the league kicked off with an Aniket Pote show to hand the Giants a win over the Mumbai Khiladis. And here we are, several action-packed days later, with the Juggernauts being crowned champions. Until the league returns in all its might then, this is me, Maanas Upadhyay, bidding you adieu for one last and final time! Good night!

The trophy is handed over to the Juggernauts's skipper, who hands it over to the coach, Ashwani Kumar Sharma! The Juggernauts pose with the trophy and boy, they are pumped! Presenting the CHAMPIONS of Season 1 - the ODISHA JUGGERNAUTS!

The Telugu Yoddhas are handed over the runner's up cheque, with each player also receiving a medal. The Odisha Juggernauts are up next and they receive the gold medal along with a cheque of INR 1 Crore! A massive achievement for the Juggernauts as they line up behind a board that reads 'Champions'

Right, time for the season presentations!

Best Attacker of the Tournament is awarded to Abhinandan Patil (Gujarat Giants). Patil scored 89 points in 11 games, including 9 dives! He was also the highest scorer amongst the Wazirs!

Best Defender of the Tournament is snapped up by Deepak Madhav (Telugu Yoddhas)

Young Player of the Tournament is won by Madan (Chennai Quick Guns). He was the side's Wazir and truly put in some terrific performances over the course of the league.

The Player of the Tournament is Ramji Kashyap (Chennai Quick Guns) and rightly so! With a 108 attack points and a defending time of 21:48 minutes, Kashyap stole the limelight!

The match officials are felicitated by Sudhanshu Mittal, the President of Kho Kho Federation of India, and Tenzing Niyogi, the League Commissioner.

Sonu Nigam is in attendance as well. He has certainly enjoyed the absolute nail-biter that we have been treated to!

FULL TIME! Odisha Juggernauts 46-45 Telugu Yoddhas

What a final we have witnessed here! Just one point to separate the two sides! Just a solitary point that is the difference between the Juggernauts and the Yoddhas! And look at them celebrate! The very animated Ashwani Kumar Sharma is absolutely pumped and he is out in the middle with the players! Tempers flare in the Yoddhas camp as the coach and the manager rush out to the court and argue with the umpires and match referee over a certain matter. They are contesting plenty of matters there but eventually they accept their fate. It is all over for Yoddhas. Nonetheless, they must hold their head high. They have played some brilliant kho kho over the past few weeks! Credit to the Juggernauts, they held their nerve in end and have just edged past the Yoddhas in what was a proper edge-of-the-seat thriller! Well don't go anywhere! 7' THE JUGGERNAUTS HAVE DONE IT! A sky dive from Suraj Lande and it is Avdhut Patil who has to return to the bench! The umpire consists with the TV umpire and it has been awarded as a SKY DIVE!

Odisha Juggernauts 46-45 Telugu Yoddhas

7' Matters get intense in the middle! Just a few seconds to go and the Juggernauts absolutely need a touch at any cost!

Just over a minute and a half left as Batch 3 of the Yoddhas comes onto the mat! They just cannot afford to give away any points here!

6' Treads through the cross lane, takes a direction and puts in a sky dive, does Suraj Lande. And it is Sachin Bhargo who has to depart!

Odisha Juggernauts 43-45 Telugu Yoddhas

6' DREAM RUN! Whew! Just when you thought there couldn't be any more twists, the Yoddhas have gotten in a couple of points in defense bonus.

6' A running touch on injury substitute Sudershan, who has to depart after defending pretty well in the absence of Prajwal KH.

5' After some relentless pursuit, V Subramani tries to change directions but the attacker, Gowtham MK, smartly gets himself parallel to the cross lane and puts in a sky dive to send him packing!

Batch 4 of the Yoddhas is on the mat now and the Juggernauts have opted for the Power Play! There is an air of desperation in the manner in which the Juggernauts are attacking!

3' A sky dive from Gowtham MK just before Prasad Radye crosses the central lane results in him being dismissed!

Odisha Juggernauts 35-43 Telugu Yoddhas

3' DREAM RUN! The batch has managed to last for over two and a half minutes and those are some much-needed points for the Yoddhas!

3' A sky dive in the cross lane gets the better of Arun SA as Mahesha P flings himself through the air and gets the touch.

2' Extends his arm across the central lane and it is Dhruv who has to depart as Gowtham MK gets the touch.

Batch 1 of the Yoddhas takes the mat and we are underway!

Some delay in proceedings as tempers flare in the Yoddhas camp. They are unhappy with one of the audience members for some reason.

Injury substitution: Prajwal KH is in a lot of pain and seems to have injured himself! He has been substituted by Sudershan.

No reviews remaining for both sides. The word of the on-field officials will be final in the fourth Turn.

At the end of Turn 3: Odisha Juggernauts 27-41 Telugu Yoddhas

A 14-point lead for the Yoddhas and it perhaps won't be enough unless they can get in some Dream Runs. The Juggernauts will have to attack ruthlessly if they are to win this contest. They absolutely cannot afford giving away any Dream Runs. Promises to be an enthralling finish to a riveting tournament! The final seven minutes to decide the outcome of the tournament! Which side will get their hands on the silverware? All shall be answered!

7' Dilip Khandavi manages to evade the attackers and runs down the clock!

7' Dipesh More has to make his way back to bench as V Subramani puts in a sky dive just moments before he can cross the central lane. Only Dilip Khandavi left on the mat now.

6' A sky dive from Adarsh Mohite just allows him to get in a touch on Aditya Kudale's ankle. A slight touch on the show and Aditya has to depart!

Batch 2 of the Juggernauts is on the mat now with a touch under two minutes to spare. Can they prevent any more points from being conceded?

5' A running touch from Arun Gunki gets the better of Arjun Singh. Soon after, the Wazir, Sachin Bhargo, puts in a burst of speed and a terrific sky dive to send back Subhasis Santra.

Odisha Juggernauts 27-35 Telugu Yoddhas

5' A review from the Yoddhas is to no avail as they believe there was a touch. The TV umpire confirms that there wan't one and the defender survives!

4' A review is taken by Mahesha P as he believes there was no touch there. However, it was one as clear as day on his jersey, perhaps which he did not feel. The Juggernauts have lost their final review! It was Rohan Shingade who put in the dive to dismiss him. Review unsuccessful!

Odisha Juggernauts 27-30 Telugu Yoddhas

Batch 1 of the Juggernauts is on the mat now! And the Yoddhas have opted for the Power Play!

4' As soon as it is converted into a FOUR POINT DREAM RUN, he loses his footing, trips and falls flat on the mat, allowing a touch to be put in by Arun Gunki.

Odisha Juggernauts 27-27 Telugu Yoddhas

3' DREAM RUN! Suraj Lande continues evading the defenders and the batch time has crossed two and a half minutes!

2' A pole dive from Rohan Shingade and it is Suraj Lande who has been adjudged to be out. However, he has reviewed it straightaway and was pretty confident too! The review is successful! Perhaps there was a central lane violation there! NOT OUT!

2' Runs around the pole and gets in a simple running touch on Milind Chavrekar, who ran out of ideas and remained rooted to his ground.

1' Gets chased after the attacker runs around the pole. Avinash Desai, in a bid to evade a touch, ends up going into the lobby completely. SELF OUT!

Odisha Juggernauts 23-23 Telugu Yoddhas

The second innings is underway and it is Batch 4 of the Juggernauts that have been sent on the court to defend. Perfect opportunity for the Yoddhas to garner a respectable lead here.

HALF TIME! At the end of Turn 2: Odisha Juggernauts 23-20 Telugu Yoddhas

The Yoddhas have pulled matters back wonderfully after what was a difficult Turn 1 for them. A magnificent effort from them as they have returned the favour with 10 points in the defense too. However, the Juggernauts managed to dismiss just the one extra defender, resulting in them having a narrow 3-point lead going into the second innings! What a game we are witnessing here! Promises to go right down the wire! Which side will emerge on top? Let's find out!

7' Converted into an 8-POINT Dream Run as the final defender, Adarsh Mohite continues evading the attackers.

7' A review taken by the Juggernauts now as they believe there was a touch point. Initially, a running touch was awarded but the TV umpire contest to the on-field umpire to change his decision to signal a sky dive! Rohan Shingade departs and it is Santra again who has gotten the points for his side!

Odisha Juggernauts 23-18 Telugu Yoddhas

7' A four-point Dream Run is converted into a SIX POINT DREAM RUN as the remaining pair continue defending pretty well.

6' A running touch by Subhasis Santra has tagged Arun Gunki. However, he has reviewed it once again. Perhaps a ploy to buy some time for the other defenders? Or did he genuinely believe it to be not out? Well, there was a touch there indeed and gunk has to depart!

6' DREAM RUN! With all three defenders still on the mat, the Yoddhas have gotten a dream run in! They are not going to back down easily!

5' Arun Gunki is dismissed as Subhasis Santra runs around the pole and gets in a running touch. However, Gunki has challenged the claim and has decided to review it! After a long and hard look at that, the TV umpire rules in favour of the Yoddhas. Gunki remains NOT OUT! Review successful!

Batch 2 of the Yoddhas is on the mat now - Arun Gunki, Adarsh Mohite and Rohan Shingade being a part of it. Can the Juggernauts pick up a big lead now?

3' Before he can do any more damage, a pole dive from Wazir, Subhasis Santra, gets the better of Pratik Waikar. The Juggernauts will breathe a sigh of relief! A huge obstacle is out of the way!
