FULL RESULTS FOR NXT DEADLINE (DECEMBER 9, 2023).
Axiom defeats Nathan Frazer by pin.
Dragon Lee defeats Dominik Mysterio by pin.
Blair Davenport defeats Fallon Henley, Tiffany Stratton, Kelani Jordan, and Lash Legend with 3 pins.
Carmelo Hayes defeats Lexis King by pin.
Trick Williams defeats Bron Breakker, Dijak, Josh Briggs, and Tyler Bate with 4 pins.
Kiana James defeats Roxanne Perez by pin.
Ilja Dragunov defeats Baron Corbin by pin.

As Ilja stands in the ring to celebrate his win, Trick Williams does the standard "challenger comes out to remind the Champ who's next" thing, but as the show goes off the air, Carmelo Hayes isn't far behind him because other people can't win the title. He'll totally cost Trick at New Year's Evil.

Baron goes for End of Days, but Ilja reverses it into a powerbomb, but he struggles to do so after the beating he's taken. The Champ lands his Coast to Coast dropkick from one corner to the other, but he can't capitalize on it. He goes for Torpedo Moscow again, but Corbin counters and almost hits End of Days. Ilja counters out and hits a DDT. He then hits three H Bomb strikes but doesn't pin Corbin. He hugs him instead. He whispers something into Corbin's ears before hitting another Torpedo Moscow for the win.
Result - Ilja Dragunov defeats Baron Corbin by pin.

Dragunov goes for his finisher but Corbin catches him with End of Days for a near fall. He hits a Death Valley Driver and a Brainbuster for a two count.

He only gets a two count off the move. Corbin locks in another Dragon Sleeper, thinking that it will work for him like Roman Reigns. He grapevines the legs but Dragunov makes his way out of it. Corbin elbows Ilja in the back of the head but Ilja recovers quickly to hit a Death Valley Driver into the bottom turnbuckle.

The strike exchange continues until Ilja lands a series of slaps in the corner. Ilja lands a kick on a grounded Corbin before hitting a German Suplex with a bridge for a near fall.
Ilja goes for another move but he can't lift Baron. He does land a boot with Corbin on the ring apron. The two battle atop the buckle with Corbin dropping Ilja off the top with a chokeslam.

Corbin goes for End of Days, but Ilja hits a mid-air Enzuguiri. He adds a running knee to regain some control. Ilja goes to the top to hit his Senton, but he languishes in pain after hitting it. The two trade strikes after making it to their feet. Corbin drops Ilja, but he immediately rises and slaps Corbin to drop both men to the mat once again.

Baron hits a DDT after several counters. Corbin mockingly hugs Ilja before dropping him with a Uranage. He locks in a weak Dragon Sleeper but transitions it to a gutbuster.

The two battle on the top buckle with Ilja headbutting Corbin down to the mat. He misses his jumping Senton, but Corbin lands a clothesline off the second rope.

Corbin works over Ilja in the corner, keeping a slow pace that would make Randy Orton blush jealously.

Corbin dumps Ilja Dragunov over the top rope but Ilja rushes back into the ring and does the same to Corbin. He also falls over the top rope. The two fight in front of the announce table, with Corbin dumping Ilja on it with a front facing suplex.

Izzi Dame helps Kiana James get a big win over her rival Roxanne Perez!

I almost thought that the person who helped Kiana James win was Lacey Evans coming back. Had a similar look and twang when she said, "It is what it is."

Announced for Tuesday's show are Eddy Thorpe vs. Dijak again, a six-person mixed tag match between Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, and Lash Legend against Josh Briggs, Brooks Jensen, and Fallon Henley. The Men's Breakout Tournament will also start.

Roxy grabs the chair and heads for the cage door, but Izzi Dame slams it in her face. James blasts Roxanne in the back with the chair before hitting a knee strike with the chair in front of it for the win.

Perez kicks out. Kiana slams Perez into the cage before going for a powerbomb, but Roxy counters it into Pop Rox. She crawls over, but James kicks out after two. James calls for the door to be opened, but that isn't a way to win for some reason. She pulls up a steel chair, but Roxy kicks her, and she drops it.

Perez goes to the top rope but then climbs to the top of the cage. James chases The Prodigy and the two trade strikes in the clouds. Roxy sends James into the chain, holding the cage up, but Kiana tries to pull Roxy down on the way down. She does slam Perez into the corner of the cage before dropping her with a powerbomb.

James hits a Spinebuster for a two count. She goes for a spear with Roxy draped in the ropes, but Roxy moves as Kiana hits steel. Perez hits a Thesz Press off the top and a basement dropkick. James is sent into the steel cage four times. Roxy hits a forearm to Kiana's back for a near fall.

Booker T mentions CM Punk's comment about being here to make money, not friends. He's told Roxanne the same.

Roxy goes for a crossbody off the top rope, but James catches her and tosses her into the steel. She then puts one of Roxy's hands in the cage wiring and kicks it.

As she enters the cage, James tries to blast Roxy with her loaded bag. Roxy ducks but gets sent into the buckle head first a few times. Kiana climbs up the cage but is dropped when Perez dropkicks the cage, causing her to fall. She adds another basement dropkick on James before getting a near fall.

As they leave the box, Bron sends Trick into the ringpost and then through the barricade after a Spear. Dijak puts Bron through the announce table with a chokeslam. Bate and Briggs are atop a buckle, but Dijak breaks it up.
Trick gets a pin on Briggs, but Dijak hits him with Feast Your Eyes. The ref tries to count the pin, but Eddy Thorpe pulls him out of the ring. He decks Dijak and into Trick. Trick sends him to the box. Bate hits a Phoenix Splash on Trick, but Trick rolls Bate up. Bron returns and goes for a Spear but is hit with a jumping knee. Trick gets the final and deciding pin.
Result: Trick Williams defeats Josh Briggs, Tyler Bate, Dijak, and Bron Breakker with 4 pins.

Bate hits a springboard DDT and crossbody over the top. Briggs blasts him with a clothesline off the ropes. Briggs climbs up but gets hit with a kick on his descent. Dijak and Briggs try to kick Bate at the same time but hit each other instead.

Briggs and Dijak double chokeslam Bate. Briggs sends Trick into a Dijak clothesline and Dijak returns the favor by doing the same to Bron. The big men climb up and hit simultaneous pins.
Dijak 3, Bate 3, Bron 3, Briggs 2.

Bron hits a pop-up gutbuster on Bate for two. Bron hits Bate with a flipping bodyslam but Briggs breaks up the pin. Briggs tries to pin Bate but Trick breaks it up. All five are free.

Bron hits a Frankensteiner on Dijak but sends him right into Bate's Tyler Driver 97. Breakker is pissed.
Bate 3, Bron 3, Dijak 2, Briggs 1.

Dijak lands a spinning kick on Trick to send him to the box.
Bron 3, Dijak, 2, Bate 2, Briggs 1.

Trick is left with Bron. Bron drops Trick with a momentum-filled clothesline. He locks Trick in the Steiner Recliner, but the guys in the penalty box break out. Trick hits Bron with a Uranage, but he rolls out of the ring. Trick climbs to the top and lands a crossbody on everyone.

He wastes little time, getting a Spear on both Briggs and Bate for two pins. He hits another one as Dijak jumps off the ropes.

Here comes Baby Steiner.

Trick hits a clothesline on Dijak off of Briggs' back, but Bate breaks up the pin. Trick and Bate trade the airplane spin, but Dijak and Briggs break up Bate's pin attempt. Dijak gets hit into the steel steps. Bate recovers and hits a springboard clothesline, followed by the Tyler Driver 97 on Trick to move into the lead.

Out neck is Trick Williams. Bate tries to hit him off the entrance, but Trick hits him. He lands side kicks on both men. He hits a double neckbreaker on Briggs and Dijak, but both men kick out. He hits Bate with a pop-up uppercut for two.

Briggs drops Bate with a sidewalk slam and a splash for two. Bate hits Briggs with the Tyler Driver 97, but Dijak breaks up the pin. Dijak tries ot hit Bate, but Bate rolls him up. Dijak decks Bate, causing him to fall on Briggs. Briggs kicks out. All three have one pin.

Briggs wastes little time in working on Bate after his pin. Bate lands a flying forearm off the steel steps. Briggs goes for a big boot but gets stuck in the ropes, allowing Bate to hit another forearm off the buckle.

Bate lands a few forearms in the early stages of his entrance. He tries to lift Dijak, but Dijak stops him. He hits the big man with a T-Bone suplex for two. Bate does the airplane spin with Dijak, but Briggs boots Bate before dropping Dijak with a huge Lariat.
Briggs and Dijak have 1 pin each.

Dijak tosses Briggs across the ring before hitting a sit-out chokeslam for two. He goes for a pendulum clothesline but Briggs counters with a big boot. Briggs climbs to the top but is caught with Feast Your Eyes as Tyler Bate comes out.
Dijak has 1 pin.

Neither man gives ground early on as the trade shoulder blocks. Briggs breaks out head scissors on Dijak. Haven't seen that from him before. He blasts Dijak with a big boot and a backbreaker before hitting a Pounce for a near fall.

Starting the Men's Iron Survivor Match are Dijak and Josh Briggs.

Backstage, Melo and Trick reconcile (possibly) and hype each other up for the rest of the night. The Men's Iron Survivor match is next.

Kelly Kincaid interviews Cora Jade. She says she gave the rest of the roster four months off but that she's ready to take over the best division in WWE.

As Melo leaves the ring, he shakes a fan's hand but sees a "Melo Screwed Trick" sign. King grabs the mic and says "I didn't attack Trick but thank you for that PLE spotlight."

Melo pulls King down by the hair but King lands an upkick. He lands a punch as Hayes goes for a springboard move off the middle rope. Hayes returns fire and hits Nothing But Net (his legdrop off the top) for the win.
Result - Carmelo Hayes defeats Lexis King by pin.

The men battle on the top buckle but both fall off hard. Melo grabs his knee on the ground. They trade chops until Melo recovers to hit a springboard clothesline. He lands the spinning faceplant for two. King counters a move into a Jackhammer for a two count.
