Harland defeats Andre Chase by referee stoppage.
Tiffany Stratton defeats Fallon Henley by pin.

Mandy Rose appears on the big screen post-match to say the miscommunication between Jade and Gonzo was why she wanted their match to be a triple threat.

Raquel tosses KLR onto the ropes neck-first before hitting another clothesline. She hits a spinning splash off the second rope before getting kicked in the face by KLR. Raquel hits the Chingona Bomb and falls into the corner. Jade tags in and the two women argue. Jade pushes Gonzo into the path of a flying IO off the top. More miscommunication leads to an "I've got the pin" scenario before Gonzo rolls Jade over on top of KLR for the win.
Result - Cora Jade/Raquel Gonzalez defeat Io Shirai/Kay Lee Ray by pin.

KLR has Jade locked in a rather tight single-leg crab. She puts Jade up for the KLR Bomb but Jade rolls out of it. Io tags in and goes to the top for her moonsault but Raquel pulls her out of the way. KLR lands a suicide dive onto Raquel as Io hits a 619 and basement dropkick on Cora. She hits a dropkick off the top for two. Io misses on landing double knees on Cora, instead hitting the turnbuckle. She tags in KLR and Jade makes it to KLR.

Could Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne show up to cost one team the match? Or will there be a clean finish? If they do interject themselves, will that make it a Fatal Five-way?

Io and Cora start things out. Jade goes for a Hurricanrana but Io counters out with a flip. She drops Cora but Cora fights back. She gets a pinning combination for a two count before landing the Hurricanrana. Raquel tags in and throws Io into the corner so KLF can tag in. She chops Raquel a few times before Raquel knocks her down. She tags Jade in and is going to Gorilla Press her onto KLR but Io breaks it up. KLR hits a flip off the top to Raquel outside the ring. Io adds the best and real moonsault (not Flair's) to Gonzo for good measure before we head off to the ad break.

Main event time as the Back teams with Cora Jade to take on Io Shirai and Kay Lee Ray.

After the match, Wagner goes to inflict more punishment but Edris Enofe saves his friend from that fate. During the whole match, Robert Stone was seen watching the match backstage. He shakes his head as Enofe made the save.

Blade gets in a few moves but Wagner bludgeons him with strikes and kicks. Wagner hits a tilt-a-whirl throw and a clothesline. Blade fights back a few times but gets knocked head over heels by another clothesline. Blade gets some composure and hits two dropkicks and a springboard crossbody. Blade goes for a move but gets hit with a Flatliner. He goes for a powerbomb but Blade gets a sunset flip and a two-count. Wagner hits an Olympic Slam and a spinning CrossRhodes type move for the win.
Result - Von Wagner defeats Malik Blade by pin.

Von Wagner takes on Malik Blade, who stuck up for Edris Enofe earlier in the night. Wagner goes on the offense immediately, but Blade briefly fights back. That darn Blade is extremely likable and talented. That usually means "use that guy/gal as enhancement talent" unfortunately. Just ask Cesaro.

A video package airs highlighting the brief history between Tommaso Ciampa and the new NXT golden boy Bron Breakker.

Before the commercial hits, we find Harland and Gacy on the roof. Harland still has the Chase U student on his shoulders. Before Harland tosses him off the roof, Gacy tells him that he thinks he made his point. Harland puts the blonde guy down and the walk off.

Escobar gets back in the ring and is hit with a superkick. Sikoa then lands the Usos Splash for the win.
Result - Solo Sikoa defeats Santos Escobar by pin.

Sikoa blocks a suplex attempt from Santos and drops him on his face. He lands some strikes and the required Samoan Drop that every Samoan fighter must use in their matches. He hits a Senton but Wilde and Mendoza jump up on the ring apron. Escobar chops Sikoa's knee before putting him on the top turnbuckle. He lands a Hurricanrana off the top but doesn't go for the pin. Xyon Quinn comes out to confront Elektra Lopez but Santos hits him with a Suicide Dive.

After several minutes in a rest hold, Escobar kicks Solo in the face. He gets a one count before locking Solo in an armbar submission. He gets another quick 1 count. Escobar yells in his face to fight him like a man.

Solo drops Santos with a shoulder block and then a body slam. He hits a mini flying headbutt for two. Escobar falls out of the ring and Sikoa gives chase. Mendoza and Wilde distract Solo and Escobar lands a devastating double knee into the ring post.

Santos chops Sikoa's chest and he shrugs it off. They engage in some back and forth as the crowd is divided with half rooting for Santos and half rooting for Sikoa.

Up next is Baby Uso, Solo Sikoa, taking on Santos Escobar. This stemmed from a miscommunication backstage where Sikoa walked in on a meeting between Legado's members. He said "my bad" but Escobar demanded he apologizes for walking in. Both men puffed up their chests and we have this match.

Both men talk trash at the other before signing the contract. This should steal the show next week. As Trick and Melo exit the ring, Bivens says it was great watching Dexter Lumis beat him last week. That brings Trick back into the ring to get in Bivens' face. He turns around and gets flapjacked through the table by the Creeds. I think the Diamond Mine should be turned face.

Bivens talks for Roddy Strong before Trick and Carmelo Hayes come out. Trick Williams talks some indecipherable words. Luckily for us, Malcolm Bivens translates for everyone cuz Trick talks too darn fast. Wade says he has no idea what anyone is talking about. He wants to hear from the two Champions instead of the hype men.

Trent from AEW has his mom appear, so even if it's not his real mom, we need at least ONE segment of Tony D'Angelo's family having a proper Italian dinner.

Stratton hits a body slam and a few flips before landing a Flatliner for the win.
Result - Tiffany Stratton defeats Fallon Henley by pin.

Up next is the in-ring debut of Tiffany Stratton. She comes out with a Paris Hilton-esque fluffy purse and some perfume. She takes on Fallon Henley. Seeing Henley's gear, I thought that Tegan Nox was back for a second. After some posturing, Stratton hits a flip off the top rope into an arm lock.

Harland goes back to the ring to inflict more damage, but one of the Chase U students goes to the ring to try and revive Chase. Harland pulls him out and slams him down before carrying him off to the back.

Gacy said that Harland was unjustly and unfairly expelled from college, but didn't say why he was expelled. Harland bashes on Chase and drives his head into the mat several times as the ref stops the match.
Result - Harland defeats Andre Chase by ref stoppage.

Harland and Joe Gacy are waiting in the ring for Harland's match with Brian Kendrick. Gacy says that Kendrick is afraid to show up because he knew he did wrong to Harland by putting his hand on his shoulder. Andre Chase comes out to say this is a teachable moment. Gacy says thanks to Chase for stepping up to be Kendrick's replacement tonight. NOTE TO FANS - EVERY MATCH THAT WAS SCHEDULED WILL CHANGE.

Mac Mitchell interviews Edris Enofe after his upset win over Von Wagner last week. He says he liked closing out the year with a win, but he is interrupted by Wagner yelling at him. Malik Blade shows up to say "a win is a win" but then Wagner pie faces him before the refs break things up.

Imperium says that the titles will stay with them, the best team in NXT history. WALTER gets his turn on the big screen, saying that MSK is what is wrong with wrestling today. They don't deserve a title match but do deserve a beating. Riddle dials back in and says six-man tag match for New Year's Evil. WALTER accepts.

Riddle appears on the big screen cuz it's big-screen appearance night due to COVID. He tells them to challenge Imperium for the titles. Out comes Marcel and Fabian "Man Baby" Aichner.

MSK comes out and Wade Barrett says (aargh) "MSK is high on life." Please.

Xyon Quinn cuts a brief promo giving an ultimatum to Elektra Lopez - it's him or Legado. What will she choose???

Grayson Waller says he'll see AJ Styles next week right before he literally runs into MSK. They bicker a bit as MSK is slated to "confront" Imperium next. Before that happens, however, we get a not annoying vignette for Tiffany Stratton. She's apparently going to have a match tonight. She said that "Daddy says I'm ready to take over NXT." Unless he's Triple H or Vince, he doesn't know what he's talking about hon.

Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade are backstage for an interview before their match against Toxic Attraction. Kay Lee Ray and Io Shirai both join the fun, saying that they want title shots as well. Mandy Rose appears on the screen backstage to say that instead of facing Jacy and Gigi, the two sets of women will face each other instead. The winning team will be a part of the NXT Women's title match at New Year's Evil.

After the match, AJ Styles appears on the big screen to say he'll be at New Year's Evil next week. Is it for a match or a confrontation??

Back from the break and Waller drops Jones with a superkick to the face. He follows up with an elbow drop off the middle rope for a two-count. Waller tries some more offense but Jones bullies him with his size, including a sidewalk backbreaker on his knee. He goes for another splash in the corner but looks winded. Waller hits a kick and climbs up to do the 10 punches. With Waller in powerbomb stance, Waller pulls off the turnbuckle pad. After the bomb, Jones runs into the exposed turnbuckle. It knocks him down and Waller hits a sliding cutter for the win.

Jones lands a sidewalk slam for a near fall before the commercial break hits.

Waller walks away from the challenge until Jones calls him a "bi**h" which always works. Jones splashes him in the corner and then tosses him across the ring.

Waller mentions his trip to RAW last night, saying that he'd put AJ down for good if Azeez and Apollo Crews hadn't interrupted him last night. He was supposed to fight Dexter Lumis but "he's not cleared" after getting hit with a chair from last week. Odyssey Jones comes out as a replacement opponent.
