WWE RAW Live Results (February 26, 2024): Cody Rhodes threatens to "hunt" The Bloodline

Heyman's hired help enters the ring, and Rhodes threatens them if they take one more step. Heyman tries to step in the ring, and Cody wails on his henchmen with a chair. The American Nightmare fends them off while Heyman pulls out two phones. "Call Roman Reigns. Call The Rock."

Rhodes stands triumphant. "The Bloodline isn't hunting me! I'm hunting The Bloodline!"

Heyman begs Rhodes to withdraw his challenge to The Rock, or else. Rhodes isn't worried. Like many of us, he was a fan of The Rock, but The Rock turned his back on the fans. "If it's a Bloodline set-up, come and get me."

Heyman asks if he can enter the ring, and Cody simply states no.

Paul Heyman states that these men are suspended NYPD officers. He warns Cody, telling him to keep Rock's name out his "freakin mouth" before he gets another "Will Smith slap."

A Cross Rhodes seals the deal for the Roller Codester.

After the match, Paul Heyman's voice echoes throughout the arena. He's not joined by The Bloodline, though. It seems to be personal security.

Rhodes plants Waller with the powerslam and follows with the Disaster Kick for a two-count. Austin Theory distracts the American Nightmare, allowing Waller to get a cheap straight right on the jaw. Cody is bounced off the ropes and flies through to hit Theory, only to turn around into a clothesline from Waller.

Back in the ring, Cody avoids the rolling flatliner and hits the Cody Cutter!

During the break, Waller caught Cody Rhodes with the rolling flatliner. We again hear confirmation that Paul Heyman is backstage, with Pat McAfee wondering if that means the rest of The Bloodline is here or not.

As we head into the final commercial break of the night, Michael Cole reveals that Paul Heyman has been seen backstage, "according to the internet."

We see Rhodes' rating for 2K24 at 93 while Waller's is 74. And as if those mattered, Cody takes control early. Waller turns things around when he whips Rhodes into the corner and follows with a cravate knee to the face.

Cody Rhodes takes on Grayson Waller in the main event next! I have a feeling Theory won't be helping Waller much tonight.

"From the bottom of my heart, you deserved it."

Jey Uso gets interviewed about his match last week. He says he's come short a few times before being cut off by Drew McIntyre.

Drew slowly walks up and says, "From the bottom of my heart...you deserved this." Jey thinks about it and attacks the #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship.

Becky Lynch asks Adam Pearce for a match with Nia Jax, which she'll get next week. As Pearce walks off, Liv comes in and vents her frustrations, complaining that Becky thinks it's "all about her."

Austin Theory actually has a thought bouncing around in his head. "Doubt."

Rest in Peace to one of the greatest to ever do it.

WWE mentions the passing of the legendary Ole Anderson before cutting to break. Anderson was 81. Rest in Peace.

Backstage, Grayson Waller is interviewed ahead of his main event match with Cody Rhodes tonight. Waller says that what Rhodes and Seth "Freakin" Rollins did to Austin Theory at Elimination Chamber was uncalled for. He also claims to have done everything in his power to stop it, and Theory clearly doesn't believe that.

I guess Austin has a...Theory...about that night. Heheh.

Jax slams Liv into the apron with a Samoan Drop but is attacked by a flying Becky Lynch! The Man sends her up the ramp as Liv Morgan pouts in the corner.

Nia Jax defeats Liv Morgan via DQ.

Back from the break, Nia continues to dominate Liv until she misses another splash. Liv hangs her up on the ropes and moves up top, connecting with a missile dropkick.

Nia counters the Codebreaker, but a diving Codebreaker stuns the giant!

She didn't say it this time, but it looked like she had to fight the urge.

Nia Jax dominates early. Liv goes for a running hurricanrana, only to be flattened with a pop-up Samoan Drop. She follows with a splash in the corner and then locks in a Stretch Muffler. Liv screams in agony as Jax swings her face into the turnbuckle!

Liv avoids Nia's leg drop on the apron, and Nia avoids screaming, "MY HOLE!"

Nia Jax is out now as The Irresistible Force takes on the slightly unhinged Liv Morgan next.

"It's none of your business. I wouldn't piss on SmackDown if they were on fire." Okay then.

Seth says that he needs to help finish The Bloodline. It's time to finally end them and secure the future of this industry and this promotion. Drew McIntyre thinks him a fool, and he's probably right. Rollins asks Drew, what if his knee is actually 100%?

"Some risks are worth taking," says Rollins.

Drew McIntyre says he wants Seth at 100% at WrestleMania. He doesn't need to fight the Bloodline with Cody. He needs to be here on RAW. McIntyre mentions something about...peeing on the fires of RAW, leading to a very good question from Rollins.

"What?"

Drew McIntyre calls out Seth Rollins, and the World Champion obliges. Seth congratulates Drew on his success in Perth over the weekend and knows that this match has been his dream for years. Unfortunately, now he has to deal with The Visionary himself.

Drew McIntyre is out next. He says he busted an eardrum in the Chamber and that doctors said he might not be ready by WrestleMania.

"Who do I look like, CM Punk?" He says he knows Punk's Straight Edge, and he doesn't drink, so after his match at Elimination Chamber, he drank enough for the both of them.

R-Truth is backstage in the Judgment Day's locker room when #DIY and The Miz walk in to cheer him up. They promise to get revenge on the Judgment Day. Truth claims they're trying to "regenerate" something before naming themselves Regeneration-X.

Hopefully, that name doesn't stick.

Zoey plants Candice with a unique maneuver; an inverted imploder suplex with a twisting motion that leaves Candice going into the mat face-first. Zoey bounces off the ropes and is tagged as Indi Hartwell gets in to take Zoey down. Baszler catches her in the Kirifuda Clutch to secure the win.

Shayna starts things off with Candice, and the Poison Pixie manages to catch Baszler with a great combination. A tornado DDT attempt, though, allows the Submission Magician to toss her across the ring for a devastating knee. Baszler and Stark focus on LeRae's arm.

Next up is a women's tag team match between Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and the women who challenged for the WWE Women's Tag Titles at Elimination Chamber, Candice LeRae & Indi Hartwell.

"You can pick anyone...but with me, it just...means...more." Good point from Master Gable.

In RAW GM Adam Pearce's office, Chad Gable makes his pitch for the Intercontinental Championship match at WrestleMania 40. He claims that with the way Gunther made his daughter cry and the comments he made about Gable being a bad father, a Gunther/Gable match means much more than any other match-up.

That table that Vinci went through left his back opened up and bleeding. What a nasty gash that is!

New Day goes for the Midnight Hour, but Vinci launches Kofi through the table he'd set up before Kaiser drives Woods' head into a chair in the corner.

The New Day takes over as we come back from the break. Kofi launches Pat McAfee's office chair into Ludwig's head, and they roll him in for a good old-fashioned kendo stick beatdown! After that, they hit the Dudley Boyz "Get the Tables" spot.

An elbow drop from the top of the turnbuckle through a table takes Giovanni Vinci out!

Kofi lays out Ludwig Kaiser, but Vinci rocks him with a devastating right. They roll inside, and the duo breaks Woods' body apart with chairs and kendo sticks.

They place Woods in the Tree of Woe with a chair wedged into his ribs. Imperium hit their double corner dropkick combination, leaving Woods in a heap as Kofi enters the fray. He sets up a table, but Imperium has the numbers, putting a stop to it.

Back from the break, Imperium is on top. Kaiser slams Kofi into the barricade while Vinci drops Woods spine first on the apron. The crowd chants for tables, and they tease it but deny it to the chagrin of the crowd. Instead, they go for a chair and batter Woods.

I wonder what Andrade thinks about Dom's beef with Rey...

Judgment Day runs into Rhea Ripley backstage, with Mami chastising her Dom Dom for picking someone like Gunther for a fight. That's...fair. He attempts to run after her to smooth things over after taking advice from Finn Balor, only to run into Andrade.

They have an awkward greeting, with both men claiming they have a business to handle. Andrade's? Finding his first opponent.
