WWE RAW Live Results (July 22nd, 2024): OG Bloodline reunion in main event

After the match, Sami Zayn is unable to celebrate. While Jey Uso plays to the crowd in the corner, Bron Breakker cuts the Intercontinental Champion in half with a spear!!

In the corner, Jey fights off JD and gets to the top rope. Sami rocks JD with the Helluva Kick and hits his patented tope to the floor, laying out the rest of Judgment Day. With that, Jey finishes the match with the Uso Splash!

Jey Uso defeats JD McDonagh via pinfall.

Balor sets up for the shotgun dropkick on Jey, only to be countered with a superkick. After the rest of Judgment Day distracts him, Jey's finally caught by the shotgun dropkick. The Coup de Grace connects, as does a high-angle moonsault from JD, but Sami breaks up the pin!

Sami Zayn and JD McDonagh both tag in, leading to JD being launched into the corner with the exploder. As Carlito distracts the ref, Dirty Dom holds Sami's foot and gives JD enough time to recover.

JD plants Sami with the running Spanish Fly, but it's not enough. Jey hits a blind tag on Jey, setting up the 1D!!

1-2-NOOO! Balor breaks it up just in time!

Balor brings Jey's momentum to a halt with the sling blade. JD follows with a springboard moonsault but can't get the pin. He holds Jey up for Balor to go for a dive, but he shakes JD off and rocks a flying Finn with a superkick!!

JD eats a running hip attack. Though Balor avoids it, he is still rocked by a strike from Jey, leading to a diving cross body. Jey sets up for the spear, but Balor counters with a kick to the jaw.

Jey FINALLY gets the tag and batters Balor with a series of rights. Cole claims that he "got YEETed." Jey pelts JD with kicks, leaving both World Tag Team Champions seated in opposite corners. The Umaga tribute begins!

Back from the break, JD and Finn are still putting the heat on Sami Zayn. JD nearly loses his control as Sami almost pushes him into his corner. After a backbody drop, Finn tags a desperate JD and hammers him with a series of rights. JD gets back in and is immediately planted with the Blue Thunder Bomb!!

JD finally turns things around for the World Tag Team Champions when he sends Sami face-first into the turnbuckle. Sami fights out of a pinfall attempt and sends JD over the ropes when he attacks Jey. Finn is tossed as well, leading to Sami taking them both out with an Asai Moonsalt!

As Dominik Mysterio distracts Sami and the ref, Carlito drives Sami's head into the ring post.

Balor tags out to JD McDonagh, only for him to be taken out with a big clothesline from the Intercontinental Champion.

Finn Balor and Jey Uso start off, with the Yeeter of Worlds rocking the Prince with a big uppercut. Finn Balor kicks out, and Jey begins focusing on his arm. Sami tags in, hitting a diving double axe handle on the elbow.

This mini-OG Bloodline reunion is always fun. Sami Zayn and Jey Uso are always great together, and we even got to see them hit the Bloodline handshake Sami and Jimmy originally had.

YE-, and I cannot stress this enough, -ET!!

It's time for the main event, folks! Jey Uso and Sami Zayn come in through the crowd, hitting their iconic handshake using giant foam hands. The WWE Universe is loud for these two!

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are interviewed backstage ahead of a meeting with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair on SmackDown. They're ready to face whatever challenge may come.
In comes Sonya Deville and her crew, who are targeting the champions. The Unholy Union mocks them for Zoey's loss to Zelina Vega, and Sonya stops it, stating that Jade and Bianca aren't the biggest problem the champions have right now.

Backstage, Xavier Woods demands a one-on-one match with Karrion Kross from Adam Pearce. He gets it next week, but Pearce is unsure of Woods' decision.

Drew McIntyre soon finds Pearce and confronts him about the Seth Rollins move. "What are you thinking?! CM Punk said some mean words about him online! I took his title! How is this fair?" Ah, Drew, always something to complain about.

If they're gonna do it then...Lie, Cheat, Steal, amirite?

Zelina sends Zoey into the second rope for the 619, but she's tripped up by Shayna Baszler as Sonya Deville distracts the ref. Lyra Valkyria and the Party Girls rush the ring, turning the favor for Vega. She rocks Zoey with her braced elbow to counter a powerbomb while the ref is distracted.

Zelina follows with another shot from the brace and finishes the night with Code Red!!

Back from the break, a desperate Zelina nearly rolls up Zoey. She kicks out and rocks Zelina with a pinpoint accurate springboard missile dropkick. Zelina refuses to die, pelting Zoey with a series of kicks and spikes her with a tilt-a-whirl DDT.

After a moonsault, Zelina nearly picks up a win. She might've had the pin if her arm was healthy. Zoey blocks Code Red and hits a superkick to the back of the head.

Zelina manages to get some offense in and even hits the running knees in the corner. However, as she goes up for a dive, Zoey chases. She grabs hold of that injured arm and tosses her over the apron, bringing all the weight down on that arm when it hits the top rope.

How is she still going??

Zelina nearly gets Zoey with a schoolboy, but Zoey kicks out. Zoey catches a kick and begins torturing her via the injured arm.

Zelina Vega is next up in a match with Zoey Stark. Vega's left arm is severely bandaged, but she refuses to back down. Somehow, she's been medically cleared.

"Gorgeous men don't go for girls like you. They go for girls like me..."

As Liv cries and leaves the arena, Rhea Ripley grabs Dom by his hair and whispers something into his ear. Whatever she whispered, he liked.

Rhea then licks Dom's face and kisses him on the cheek! The power couple survives!

"I HATE YOU LIV!! YOU'VE RUINED MY LIFE OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!"

Dirty Dom stands by Rhea Ripley!!

Liv Morgan's voice rings out as her music hits, but she's not on the ramp or in the ring. She's in the crowd. She says that she has feelings for Dominik and knows that Daddy Dom has feelings for her. "Gorgeous guys don't go for girls like you. They go for girls like me."

Dom tries to prevent Rhea from chasing Liv, and she nearly takes his head off. Liv continues to call him Daddy Dom as he tries to calm Rhea down.

Rhea Ripley walks Dirty Dom out like a kid who got brought home a bad report card!! She grabs a mic and makes it simple. "Liv, you want him? Come get him!"

Backstage, Judgment Day is trying to explain to Rhea Ripley why;

A: They attacked Jey Uso, and
B: Why Sami Zayn is now involved.

One of them lets out that Liv Morgan distracted Dirty Dom earlier, and Rhea grabs his arm and yanks him off-screen. "We're going to the ring!"

Dunne is rocked with the pop-knee strike from Sheamus as well as the 10 Beats. Bronson eats a knee as well. While Dunne rolls under the ropes to avoid the Brogue Kick, Reed is not so lucky! Sheamus stares down his old protege! This is not over.

Next up is a match between Pete Dunne and Bronson Reed. Last week, Dunne saved Sheamus from an attack before attacking his former leader.

Whelp...this week, Sheamus makes the first move and lays out both Bronson Reed AND Pete Dunne!

As the Creeds await the Wyatts on the floor, Uncle Howdy appears in the ring and plants Gable with Sister Abigail!!

Chad Gable hands the Creeds chairs, but before they can finish Otis off, the lights go out!!

Gable states that numbers matter on RAW, and they could all use numbers to deal with The Wyatt Sicks. Otis declines, calling Gable a coward for abandoning the Creeds when The Wyatts came to the ring last week. Gable calls him pathetic, but the offer is still on the table for Tozawa and Maxxine. They stay by his side, forcing the Creeds to attack.

Otis lays them out with a double clothesline and nearly plants his former coach with the World's Strongest Slam. Unfortunately, the Creeds and Gable are too much for him.

Gable says that Otis being the new "leader" is a strong choice, as his mind is not exactly his best quality. "You suck" chants continue to fill the air as he speaks. Gable introduces them to The Creed Brothers and gives them an offer.

"Do the right thing, and come back to your coach."

After the match. The Alpha Academy music hits. Chad Gable is joined by the Creed Brothers.

One of the members of AOP attempts to interfere but eats a superkick from Woods. That distraction allows Kross to hit the Final Prayer.
