WWE RAW Live Results (March 11, 2024): Major upset in Gauntlet match! Gunther's contender finally revealed!

Indi Hartwell & Candice LeRae defeat Maxxine & Ivy Nile via pinfall.

Damian Priest defeats R-Truth via pinfall.
Sami Zayn last pins Chad Gable to win the Intercontinental Championship #1 Contenders Gauntlet Match.

After the match, the two embrace. Gable looks dejected as Sami whispers some encouraging words. It's all shortlived, though, as Gunther comes out to stare his new challenger down.

Gable hits his deadlift German suplex, and follows with another ankle lock! Sami manages to roll Gable up, somehow, and secures the pin!

As Sami fights to stand, Gable hits a leg-trapped German. The moonsault again fails, and Sami hits a Helluva Kick, although his injured leg gives it a lot less power.

Gable counters the pin for a near-fall of his own.

Sami gets to the ropes, then launches Gable into the corner with the exploder suplex. Gable counters the Helluva Kick by picking his bad leg, going for another ankle lock. Sami tries to break away, but Gable has it in tight.

"I need this! I need this more than you!"

Zayn and Gable trade elbows and Zayn rocks Gable with the boot. A Blue Thunder Bomb attempt is countered, and Gable locks in the ankle lock. He screams, "I NEED THIS!! I NEED THIS MORE THAN YOU!!"

Kinda sounding a little whiney there.

Back from the final break, for real this time, Gable has Sami in the ring. He's moving up for the moonsault. Sami cuts him off, looking for an avalanche back suplex. Gable fights him off with an elbow to the jaw and follows with his moonsault, but Sami gets the knees up.

Sami is spent and Gable isn't able to stand! Count slow, ref!

Gable lets Sami stand up and shake off some of the exhaustion before going for the German suplex. Sami fights out of an ankle lock, getting to the ropes to break it.
Gable attempts to lock it on the floor, but Sami kicks him off, sending him skull-first into the steel steps. That might be all Sami needs.

Chad Gable is out next, and he tries to encourage Sami Zayn to get to his feet. "I refuse to beat a broken man!"

Sami Zayn ducks a flying knee and rocks Kinshasa with a Helluva Kick out of nowhere!!

Sami Zayn defeats Shinsuke Nakamura via pinfall.

Nakamura looks for an easy Kinshasa, but Sami gets under it and rolls up The King of Strong Style for a near fall!!

Reed catches Sami, slamming him and following with a leaping elbow drop to the chest. Sami fights out of Reed's grasp up top, turning that situation into a sunset flip powerbomb!!

As Shinsuke Nakamura's music hits, Reed blindsides Zayn. He follows with a Tsunami as Shinsuke strolls slowly.

When we come back, Michael Cole reminds us that tonight is the first night of Ramadan, meaning that he's fasting today. That means Sami's at a real disadvantage, but he's battling strong against the Colossus.

Sami Zayn is out next, and he takes the fight to the big man, who is still relatively fresh. Reed attempts to send Sami into the barricade only for Sami to bounce off of it with a moonsault. Sami's on top as we move into the final break!

Reed eats a few dives but catches Ricochet flying inside the ring with a massive slam. He counters a handspring bulldog, slamming Ricochet head-first into the mat. After that, the Tsunami washes away Ricochet's hopes.

Bronson Reed defeats Ricochet via pinfall.

JD rakes the eyes and launches Ricochet's ribs first into the steel post. It's not enough. Ricochet sends JD crashing into the mat, setting up perfectly for the Shooting Star Press!

Ricochet defeats JD McDonagh via pinfall.

Unfortunately for Ricochet, his next opponent is Bronson Reed.

After the break, Ricochet and McDonagh are on the apron. Ricochet picks his opponent up for a Death Valley Driver to the side of the ring!! JD struggles to get to his feet but slides in just in time for a springboard moonsault from RIcochet! He follows with a northern lights and vertical suplex for a near fall!

Ricochet stuns JD with a handspring elbow, but JD responds with a brainbuster. It's not enough to put the One and Only down, as he follows with a poison rana. JD catches him running off the ropes with a standing Spanish Fly!!

Ricochet kicks out just in time.

McDonagh is brutalizing the former Intercontinental Champion now. McDonagh, a former Cruiserweight Champion, spikes Ricochet with a standing uranage and follows that with an impressive standing moonsault. The crowd is not pleased with JD.

Ricochet sends JD to the floor, but JD sees the dive coming. He slides inside and counters a springboard crossbody with a gutbuster!

Ricochet and JD McDonagh start off the main event. Both of them are in a bad spot, as they'll have to run the gauntlet to earn their WrestleMania moment.

Gunther is interviewed backstage by Jackie Redmond. She says it's believed that he's gotten overconfident in his 640-day-long Intercontinental Title reign. Gunther responds, stating the facts. The IC Title has reached new heights never before seen, and it takes a lot to be in his position. Six of the best RAW has to offer will face off in a Gauntlet Match tonight. "So whoever wins...good luck. "

The crowd wants it!! But does Jimmy Uso want it?!

Jey Uso is out next and cuts to the chase. He challenges Jimmy Uso for a match at WrestleMania. Fans are fully behind it.

Backstage in the physician's office, Becky challenges Nia Jax to a Last Woman's Standing Match on RAW next week.

Back from the break, Truth fires up with his childhood hero, John Cena's, moves of doom! Shoulder tackle! Protoplex! Five Knuckle Shuffle! Attitude Adjustment! STF!!

It's not enough as Judgment Day runs down to distract Truth. Truth dives onto them but rolls back inside for a devastating clothesline from Priest. South of Heaven finishes him off.

Mami wants Andrade?! The Queen won't be pleased.

Damian Priest starts the match early, attacking R-Truth while Cole and Pat McAfee are discussing WWE 2K24.
#DIY rush to ringside as the beatdown takes place. Priest attempts a Razor's Edge to the announcer's desk, but Truth escapes and sends Priest into a ring post. He follows with a flying clothesline off the apron! Truth is on top as we head into a break!!

Backstage, Andrade meets with Rhea Ripley, who wants to "talk business" when Dirty Dom returns next week. As he leaves, Finn Balor sides with Dom, stating that he could be huge for The Judgment Day.

Damian Priest rushes through the conversation as he needs to take care of business tonight. He takes on R-Truth next!

Shayna yelled at Dakota as she interfered. "Haven't you learned enough?" Shayna has a history with the majority of Damage CTRL and spent the majority of her time in NXT as champion and terrorizing Dakota Kai, snapping her limbs many times. Tonight was payback.

Zoey hits Z-360 on Kairi, and Shayna tags in for a nasty knee to the jaw. Asuka barely breaks it up. Zoey goes for a dive to the floor, but Asuka avoids it. In the ring, Shayna catches Kairi with the Kirifuda Clutch. Dakota Kai distracts Shayna long enough for Asuka to stun Shayna.

Insane Elbow with the assist from Asuka earns The Kabuki Warriors another win.

Kabuki Warriors defeat Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark via pinfall.

Shayna tas in, but gets stunned with a Codebreaker and a meet-in-the-middle pair of kicks. Zoey just barely breaks up the pin, and Shayna rocks Asuka with a nasty roundhouse kick.

Zoey tags in for Z-360, but Asuka turns it into a German suplex.

Zoey Stark is taking the fight to Kairi Sane when we return from break, but she fights Zoey off and hits a massive diving double stomp for a near fall!

Shayna Baszler and Asuka start off the match, with the Queen of Spades getting bested early by The Empress of Tomorrow. Kairi Sane tags in, and Michael Cole mentions how she's a former NXT Champion and winner of the Mae Young Classic.

It would've been nice of him to state that she beat Shayna both for that title AND the MYC trophy.

Oh come on, Nia!! They just shook hands!!

Backstage, Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan meet and shake hands. Unfortunately, that moment is short-lived as Nia Jax blindsides them. Nia finishes the assault by Mandhandle Slamming Becky into a table.

Out next are The Kabuki Warriors. All of Damage CTRL, Dakota Kai, and WWE Women's Champion IYO SKY accompany the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions to the ring. They put the gold on the line against Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark.
