This week's episode of RAW was one of the best in some time.

The matches mattered more and there was a lot of good being delivered ahead of the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

Roman runs at Lashley, but Lashley hits the Spear. Big E interrupts.

Lashley goes for the Hurt Lock, but Big E does not allow it. Roman hits Lashley with the Superman Punch.

Big E throws Reigns to the apron and hits him with the apron spear.

Lashley runs at Reigns, but Reigns counters the spear with the Superman Punch.

Roman misses the Superman Punch, but Big E hits the Big Ending. Lashley stops the pinfall. Lashley hits Big E with the spinebuster through the table.

Big E runs at Roman, into his knee. Lashley hits the spinebuster on Big E, Roman interrupts the pin, but Big E kicked out.

Big E gets back in and slams Lashley. He also takes out Reigns and stacks them before hitting the double splash.

The fight is carrying on as Bobby Lashley throws Big E into the barricade, and now it's Roman and Bobby.

Bobby drives Roman face-first into the mat.

He goes for the Delayed Suplex and holds Reigns up before slamming him down.

That's a near-fall.

Big E punishes Lashley in the corner, but Roman hits him with the Samoan Drop.

The match is a tough one for everyone concerned, with each superstar trying to get the upperhand as the match continues.

The match starts before Big E can even make his way to the ring, as they all attack each other, with Roman initially getting the better of the exchange.

Now, it's time for the main event of the night.

Jeff Hardy falls knee first on Sheamus, but he still manages to get the roll up win.

Hardy goes to the top rope and nearly takes out Sheamus. His mask falls off, and now Sheamus is vulnerable. His nose is bleeding as he goes to the top rope and hits the flying clothesline.

Jeff kicks out. He goes for the twist of fate, but Sheamus hits the highknee.

He launches himself off the steps into Sheamus, but Sheamus catches him and slams him on the apron.

Jeff hits Sheamus with several elbow strikes and knocks him off the ropes.

Hardy chops down Sheamus with the basement dropkick. He follows by attacking the mid-section of Sheamus and pushing him into the corner.

Sheamus vs Jeff Hardy

If Jeff wins this match, he gets added to the Extreme Rules Match.

She went after Lilly, but Alexa fought back and took her out, dropping her on her head.

Charlotte rips the head off the Charly doll.

Charlotte and Alexa start brawling, as Charlotte knocks Alexa down.

Alexa has the sleeper hold in, but manages to stand tall anyway.

Alexa says that she does not need to desperately grasp at titles to stay relevant.

Charlotte and Alexa mock each other about their originality.

Alexa asks Charlotte, without a title, who she is.

She says that no one knows, because even Charlotte does not know. She says that she has nothing. Alexa says that Charlotte is terrified about the title moving on without her.

Charlotte says that all of this is a desperate cry for help, so she's going to make it her job to beat sense back into Alexa.

Charlotte reminds Alexa that her doll is more popular than her.

Charlotte says that she does not play dress up and does not pretend to be something that she's not.

Charlotte says that she does not want Charly, she wants the old Alexa Bliss back, the five feet of fury. But Alexa can't fool Charlotte. She says that it's all an attempt to fool everyone about how fragile she was.

Charlotte refuses to sit and says that she wants Alexa's tricks to be done with so that they can compete.

Alexa talks about how Charlotte didn't bring Charly with her.

Alexa says that's fine, as Alexa brought her instead.

Alexa Bliss welcomes her future opponent, Charlotte Flair to her Playground.
