Jey Uso defeats Bron Breakker via pinfall to win the Intercontinental Championship. Grade: A

Jey Uso celebrates in the crowd with his people!! They'll be YEETing all night!! What a match!!

Jey gives Bron a taste of his own medicine!

Bron kicks out and gets to his feet first as Jey falls to the floor. Bron chases him for another super spear, but Jey counters with the superkick!!

Bron struggles to stand and is instead driven through the barricade with a spear from Jey! Back in the ring, Jey spears Bron again and hits the Uso Splash!! 1-2-3!!

Jey Uso defeats Bron Breakker via pinfall.
Grade: A

Bron plants Jey with the gorilla press powerslam but can't secure the win. Jey rolls to the floor, where he's cut down by a spear. Bron rolls him back inside for a spear, but Jey counters with one of his own! He moves up top for the Uso Splash!

Bron kicks out!!

Jey finally gets some offense in, popping Bron with uppercuts. He goes for the Uso Splash, but Bron rolls away and picks up Jey for an F-5!! Wait..that's...that's an interesting move. An F-5 into a gutbuster!! Jey kicks out and plants Bron with a pop-up Samoan Drop!

Jey goes up top again, but Bron chases and hits the Frankensteiner!! The crowd erupts in "This is Awesome" chants, and they're right.

Bron sets Jey up on the table for his patented apron dive, sending them both crashing to the floor past the desk. It was a ROUGH landing.

Bron takes Jey down with a dive but they both struggle to shake the cobwebs. That was rough.

Bron slows things down, trapping Jey in an..attempt at an abdominal stretch. He then picks the challenger up and drapes him gut first on the top rope. Jey falls to the mat and is in a bad way. Bron drops him with a backbreaker and goes for a pin but breaks it up to do some terrible pushups instead. Seriously, he should be able to do better pushups than that.

Bron is back on the offense when we return from the break. The champ is hammering Jey's sternum with a series of shoulder tackles and Irish whips into the corner. Jey pops Bron with some rights, but he shakes them off and launches him overhead like a bag of potatoes.

Bron Breakker bulldozes Jey Uso to open the match. Jey is sent to the floor, where he manages to avoid a huge suicide dive from Bron. The champ flies gut first into the table, leaving Jey Uso on top as we cut to a break.

If this isn't a great meme waiting to happen, I don't know what is.

Kofi's furious with the way Woods handled all of that. Woods claims that Rey is in the wrong and is confused about how Kofi doesn't see that.

Backstage, New Day are met by LWO. Rey Mysterio attempts to apologize for what happened last week but...Woods isn't having it. Rey tries to brush off his frustration and mentions a match with Finn Balor next week. Woods explodes. "Oh, you're focusing on another former world champion?" When Kofi intervenes, it continues. "Another former world champion telling me what's what?"

Woods seems very insecure about not ever holding a singles title. Though...he is a King of the Ring winner, something none of them have done. Does that mean nothing?

The code leads to yet another strange place.

We see another Wyatt Sicks tease, though

We see a vignette from Damian Priest, who talks about his history with Finn Balor. He says the Judgment Day ran WWE, but Finn always wanted it all to be about him. Priest says he shed a tear when Rhea won the world title because he was proud of her. Finn? He sulked. When Priest won the world title, Finn couldn't have been happier...on camera. But when the cameras were off, he always left with a look of envy.

Priest says Finn is not his brother and promises to put his former friend down at Bad Blood once and for all.

Thanks to more interference from Chad Gable, Woods loses his temper and is rocked with a nasty knee from Julius. With Kofi disposed of, the Creeds hit their Brutus Ball/powerbomb combination for a huge win.

American Made defeats New Day via pinfall.
Grade: B

Brutus takes Woods up top for another superplex. Woods knocks him off and manages to get to Kofi as Brutus tags Julius. Kofi rocks Brutus with a spinning backkick and sends Julius to the floor with his brother. The Trust Fall follows, and back inside the ring, Julius eats a sky-high crossbody from Kofi for a near fall!

As we cut back to the action, Woods tags Kofi, but the referee stops it!! Chad Gable distracts the ref so he doesn't see the tag. Woods is trapped halfway under the apron and battered by the entire squad while the official argues with Kofi.

All four men are in the ring. Julius superplexes Kofi while Woods superplexes Brutus, leaving all four men down as we cut to a break. This match has been FANTASTIC!!

Kofi manages to tag out to Woods, eventually, as Brutus takes a bit too much time laughing to keep control. A double bulldog plants Brutus's face on the canvas for a near fall.

Julius and Brutus could get a major wave of momentum if they could knock off a legendary team like the New Day. Julius starts off with Xavier Woods. The veteran's speed keeps him out of harm's way, and he sends Julius into the corner for a swinging kick from Kofi.

The former WWE Champion, though, is quickly taken off his feet once he tags in. The Creeds overpower Kingston with ease, and Julius slams Brutus on top of him with a gut-wrench suplex.

We've got the New Day out next. Despite all that old merch and gear Kofi brought, the duo comes out with none of it. Woods was serious, no Booty-O's. No horns. No pancakes. All business.

We see a replay of the Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes segment from SmackDown. It truly was an epic moment, especially with Roman's final words. "You're in my way. You're in my way...in life."

We also see a strange...trifecta of what looks like runes surrounded by a circle. Maybe a shield? Is that a Viking Raiders tease?

Bron Breakker cuts a promo on his opponent, Jey Uso. He says that he's going to dominate Main Event Jey tonight, but he might give him another crack at the title when he fights back up the ladder...someday...maybe.

Another picture perfect moonsault from the Genius of the Sky

Kairi hits an Insane Elbow to the floor while SKY ends Isla Dawn's night with the Over the Moonsault!!

Damage CTRL defeats Unholy Union via pinfall.
Grade: C+

IYO backflips into Dawn and...lands awkwardly on her head. Thankfully, it doesn't look like it hurt her too much. SKY takes out both her opponents with a springboard dropkick. She's sent into the ropes after a roll-up gets a near fall, allowing Dawn to hit her with an elbow to the face. As the Union goes for their backstabber/Swanton finish, Kairi sends Alba to the floor.

Back from the break, Kairi attempts to get to her partner but has her eyes gouged. She ducks a shot from Isla that nearly hits Alba, leading to the two arguing for a moment. This allows Kairi to finally get to the Genius of the Sky. IYO tags in and lights the Unholy Union up with strikes!

What uhhhh...what are you doing there, Isla?

Isla Dawn batters IYO SKY early, but the former SmackDown Women's Champion flips over Dawn and rocks her with a big palm strike. Damage CTRL connects with a pair of running dropkicks. Alba Fyre tags in but is sent to the corner for a running shoulder tackle.

Isla manages to hang Kairi's neck up on the top rope after a distraction from Alba, putting the former champs firmly in control.

We've got a tag team match coming up, as two of the top contending duos for the Women's Tag Titles face off. It's the Unholy Union vs. Damage CTRL. IYO SKY and Kairi Sane are met backstage by the champs as Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill attempt to big-time their rivals.

"My wife sees what this is doing to my mental health"

As that match is made, we hear more chaos backstage. Pearce rushes around the corner to find Sheamus being choked by Pete Dunne with a weapon of some kind. Sheamus got the crowd earlier in the night to chant, "His name is Butch," leading to this. Much like Reed and Strowman, this feud is heading to an epic match.

Adam Pearce is asked by Jackie Redmond about the ongoing war between Reed and Strowman. Pearce says it needs to end...and it will next week. A final match between two titans. But it won't be a normal match...it'll be a LAST MONSTER STANDING!!

He claims that it's always been good vs. evil when it comes to this rivalry, so it makes sense that Punk thinks of himself as the devil. "Of course, you compare yourself to a supernatural figure. You've always seen yourself as a god." He promises that Punk is only a man...one that will be broken in Hell in a Cell.
