There's no answer for Liv Morgan if Rhea is injured...

03:07 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

The crowd erupts in cheers as Jey Uso and the Terror Twins celebrate! What an ending to the night! Thanks for joining us, folks! We'll see you tomorrow night for WWE NXT!

02:59 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Uso cuts Balor down with the spear, and Priest drops JD with the Razor's Edge. Priest tags Jey, who finishes JD off with the Uso Splash!!

Jey Uso and Damian Priest defeat the Judgment Day via pinfall.

02:58 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Thanks to that distraction, Balor and JD hit a Coup de Grace-Moonsault combination. Priest manages to break the pin up in the nick of time! Rhea Ripley's music hits as she limps to the ring on a crutch. Liv mocks her until Rhea reveals the truth...the crutch is for the show!! She chases Liv away and gives JD and Balor the "Suck It" taunt.

02:57 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Balor is rocked with a clothesline. He counters South of Heaven with a roll-up. Priest kicks out and kicks out of another pin after a Nightmare on Helms Street. Priest manages to break through the Judgment Day's onslaught to tag Jey Uso. Jey takes out both opponents with a diving crossbody. JD is rocked with a superkick and spear. As Jey goes for the Uso Splash, Finn Balor distracts the ref, allowing Liv Morgan to crotch him up top.

02:55 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Priest finally tags in, as does Balor, leading to The Archer of Infamy unloading on his former brethren!! A flapjack plants JD and Balor eats a series of kicks. Both men are flattened in opposite corners with big splashes. Balor is able to stop his momentum with a slingblade, but the shotgun dropkick is countered with a big shot from Priest.

02:53 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Back from the break, Judgment Day are on top again. Jey's back in the corner, attempting to fight to get across the ring. JD traps him with a Fujiwara Armbar in the middle of the ring. Jey breaks away as the two begin battering each other with rights. Each punch from Jey is met with a "YEET" from the crowd. JD catches him with a headbutt, but Jey responds, somehow, with a leaping enziguri!!

02:51 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

The YEET Man YEETS himself!

02:48 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

The Tag Champions keep the pressure on Main Event Jey while cutting him off from his side of the ring. It's not long, though, before Jey's able to send them to the floor. Priest lowers the rope as Jey hits a huge plancha over the ropes, bowling over the Judgment Day!

02:47 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Damian Priest wants Finn Balor, but The Prince immediately tags out to JD McDonagh. The Lego-headed Superstar catches Priest chasing Balor but eats a windmill kick to the jaw for his trouble. Jey tags in and hits a big splash/enziguri combo in the corner. JD catches Jey with a seated jawbreaker and tags out to Balor.

02:45 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Say it with us! YEET!

02:41 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

With all that wrapped up, we've only got one match left! It's time for the main event featuring Main Event Jey Uso!! The Yeet Man teams up with Damian Priest to get revenge on The Judgment Day!!

But can they withstand the numbers game? And will Bron Breakker get involved?

02:38 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

The Strowman Express runs through Ludwig Kaiser!

02:37 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Message sent from Pete Dunne!

02:37 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

If Braun's gonna do one thing...he's gonna throw a chair!

02:31 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Sheamus counters Kaiser's DDT and rocks him with the Brogue Kick! Before he can pin him, Pete Dunne comes in and drags him to the floor! Dunne cracks him with the shillelagh, leaving Braun time to plant Ludwig with the powerslam!

Braun Strowman defeats Ludwig Kaiser via pinfall to advance to the Intercontinental Title Tournament finals.

02:29 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

After the break, Strowman launches a chair that takes Kaiser's head off. Braun then heads into the ring to take on Sheamus. The two beefy brawling boys hammer one another with clubbing shots. Strowman slams Sheamus with a big chokeslam, but Sheamus kicks out. Sheamus responds with a pump knee to the spine and the Ten Beats on the apron.

02:26 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Sheamus and Kaiser brawl on the floor while Braun twiddles his thumbs in the ring. Eventually, he bails and rams into them with a massive shoulder tackle. The Strowman Express hit the tracks early!! Strowman went for another big tackle on Kaiser, but the Epitome of European Elegance sent him through the barricade instead.

02:24 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Next up is the final opening-round Triple Threat in the Intercontinental Title Tournament. Wow, that's a mouthful. Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser were originally going to face Bronson Reed, but due to a case of COVID, Reed's been replaced by Braun Strowman.

Strowman was injured last week in an attack from Reed. After the beatdown, he claimed he "couldn't feel his fingers." Despite that and a ton of tape on his ribs, chest, and back, Strowman is here and looking for his first singles title post-COVID lockdown. Interesting little coincidence there.

02:17 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

"Thanks for the advice...ROOKIE!"

02:14 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Those words struck a cord...

02:13 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Jey Uso's interview backstage but is interrupted by Bron Breakker. The Intercontinental Champion warns Jey to drop out of the tournament and walk away. "Chase after Dominik Mysterio's sloppy seconds." Bron's threat doesn't shake Main Event Jey.

"Thanks for the advice, rookie. Don't worry about Mami, I'ma get mine. But now you have my full attention. I'm gonna win this Intercontinental Championship, and I'm gonna beat your a** while I do it!"

02:11 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

As Gunther leaves, Sami stops him by stating a fact. "As long as you've been in WWE when it comes to the big time, I am the only man that has beaten you in this ring." He's correct since the only times Gunther lost a singles match have been against Sami...and Bron Breakker and Ilja Dragunov, the latter of whom both defeated him in NXT and NXT UK, respectively.

Gunther doesn't answer, but that statement clearly hurt him.

02:08 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Gunther says he and all those legends Sami named have something in common. They all stepped up after being IC Champions to climb to the rank of World Champion. After Sami's run he...well, he stepped down, according to the King General. He says he hears the passion in Sami's voice and the fire in his eyes. If Sami really wants a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, Gunther's answer is...

No.

02:06 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Sami Zayn mentions the Intercontinental Championship being the "workhorse title" and mentions multiple major names in WWE history. Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Macho Man Randy Savage, Bret Hart. Every one of those men used that title to climb to the world title. That's what Gunther did, and now that's what Sami aims to do!

02:05 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Gunther says that he defeated Randy Orton at his very best. He respects the Viper but also means everything he's said about him over the last month. As far as what's next for the World Heavyweight Champion...

SAMI ZAYN IS HERE!! Are we getting a WrestleMania rematch?!

02:04 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Respect the King General and YOUR World Heavyweight Champion!

02:04 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

"What'd he say?" "Yeet!"

02:01 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Gunther's out next, and the World Heavyweight Champion claims complete responsibility for Bash in Berlin being the highest-grossing arena show in WWE history.

02:01 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Damian Priest checks with Rhea Ripley ahead of his tag match tonight, asking if her "friend" said yes. She says no, he said, "YEET." Rhea seems smitten by Jey Uso. Love is in the air, maybe?

01:59 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Backstage, Kofi Kingston is trying to speak to Adam Pearce about a World Tag Team Title shot. There's no Xavier Woods, and there's no Odyssey Jones, the latter of whom was scrubbed from the roster on WWE.com earlier today. Kofi says it's been months since the gold's been defended, but Pearce can't "get ahold" of them. Weak excuse...

Gunther walks by and scoffs at Kofi.

01:53 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

SKY hits the knees in the corner for a two-count on Alba, who then counters a powerbomb for an attempt at The Unholy Union's Gory Bomb-Facebuster finisher. SKY escapes and plants Alba with a sickening German suplex.

Kairi goes up for a dive to Isla on the floor, but Isla drags Bianca in front of her to take the attack. As Jade checks on Bianca and checks Kairi with an elbow to the jaw, the Unholy Union flattens IYO SKY with their Gory Bomb-Facebuster combination.

Unholy Union defeats Damage CTRL via pinfall.

01:51 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Back from break, we hear that Kairi Sane has been brutalized by the Unholy Union. Kairi manages to eventually tag in IYO SKY, and the Genius of the Sky gets to work. She takes out both of her opponents with a series of strikes and a split dropkick that sends them into opposite corners.

01:50 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

There's no moonsault quite like an IYO moonsault

01:46 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Jade and Bianca are sitting ringside for the next contest. It's Damage CTRL vs. The Unholy Union. Isla Dawn starts off with Kairi Sane. The Pirate Princess sends Isla to the floor for a flying superman punch. Joe Tessitore calls Kairi "Dakota Kai."

Alba Fyre tries to take out Kairi but is laid out with a big springboard moonsault from IYO SKY.

01:44 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

The champions look like a million bucks!

01:40 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Speaking of incredible appearances, we've got the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions here tonight! Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, both looking like they're sculpted out of marble, make their way to the ring. Who will be next for this unstoppable duo?

01:39 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Backstage, we're shown a shocking sight. While Adam Pearce is interviewed by Cathy Kelley regarding Bronson Reed's replacement...Braun freakin Strowman shows up!! Despite being flattened between a car and a flying Reed last week, The Monster of All Monsters says he can go and wants in!!

01:38 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Torpedo Moscow sends Ilja Dragunov shooting into the finals

01:36 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Joe Tessitore makes a flub on his first night, calling Dragunov's finisher a "shoulder block." Again, it's his first night, so we'll cut him some slack.

01:32 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Dragunov is trapped in the tree of woe and eats the diving double stomp from Lee. The latter follows up with a missile dropkick and sets up for his finish. Dragunov counters, bounces off the ropes, and hits the Torpedo Moscow!!

Ilja Dragunov defeats Dragon Lee via pinfall and advances in the Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

01:30 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Lee and Dragunov hammer one another before Lee is able to plant the Mad Dragon with an incredible sit-out powerbomb!

01:30 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Dragon Lee hits a big dive onto Ilja on the floor. He looks for a frog splash to Dom, but Carlito rushes the ring and sends Lee crashing to the floor below! Damian Priest doesn't let it slide, rushing the ring and laying out Carlito. Priest chases Dom out of the arena! It's just Ilja Dragunov and Dragon Lee left for the opportunity!

01:25 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio dump Ilja Dragunov to the floor and get to scrapping. Mysterio plants Dragon Lee with a Michinoku driver before turning his sights on the Mad Dragon. Ilja eats a chop and dumps Dom on his head with a pair of German suplexes. Dom tries to hold onto Lee to stop a third, but Ilja powers through it and suplexes them both!!

01:23 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Next up is one of the two Intercontinental Title Tournament triple threats. Dirty Dominik Mysterio faces Dragon Lee and Ilja Dragunov for a spot in the Fatal Four-Way to determine Bron Breakker's new challenger. Dom has a lot of history with Lee, as they both battled for the NXT North American Title last year.

01:22 (GMT)3 SEP 2024

Hard to believe this wasn't the end of Punk's night...
