01:58 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

That'll do it for Sportskeeda's coverage of WWE SmackDown on FOX. Be sure to return tomorrow for our live Clash at the Castle: Scotland coverage!

01:58 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

A fired-up Randy Orton stands tall as The Bloodline backs off. Orton helps Kevin Owens, and the two friends hug in the ring. Their friendship has developed nicely.

The crowd chants and sings Orton's theme as we go off the air.

01:56 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa show up immediately after and jump Owens. They keep pushing each other off of Kevin so they can pummel him. They tease doing a Triple Powerbomb when Randy Orton's music hits! The Viper is back!

He lays out Tonga Loa and Tama Tonga on the way and then hits a rope-draped DDT on Solo in the ring. He coils for the RKO but hits Tonga Loa with it instead, and Solo gets away.

01:55 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Owens recovers enough to hit a superkick, and then a Swanton, but Solo's knees are up; Sikoa then goes for a Samoan Spike, but Owens ducks! He hits a Stunner! One.. two.. thr- NO! Paul Heyman puts Solo's foot on the bottom rope. Kevin realizes what Paul did and flips out. Heyman is begging for forgiveness, saying he had no choice, and an enraged Kevin teases, putting Heyman through a table.

Solo saves Heyman, hitting a Samoan Spike, he then repeats it in the ring and this one is over.

Solo Sikoa defeats Kevin Owens by pinfall

01:53 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

After presumably the final break of the night, Solo Sikoa and Kevin Owens are brawling on the ropes. Owens knocks Solo down and hits a huge frog splash, but Solo kicks out. Paul Heyman looks terrified. Solo recovers and hits a Spinning Solo, but Kevin Owens kicks out! He then hits another, and Owens shockingly kicks out again! Wow.

01:49 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

The two men go to the apron, and Kevin Owens seemingly attempts a powerbomb, but Solo reverses it and backdrops Kevin on the apron!

Both men crash to the floor as we approach what seems to be the final break of the night, but that bump was ugly. Hopefully, Kevin isn't hurt.

01:48 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Owens steps on Solo and climbs the top rope, but Solo is up and cuts him off. Solo climbs the ropes and attempts to superplex Owens, but Kevin fights it. He then hits repeated strikes to the bigger man and Solo falls. Kevin then hits a Tornado DDT for a near fall! This is good.

Solo backs control and goes for a Spinning Solo, but Owens fights out. They trade superkicks, and Owens levels Solo before hitting the cannonball in the corner. From there, Kevin hits a Swanton for another near fall.

01:46 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

The two begin trading strikes back and forth, and the crowd is firmly behind Kevin. He gets the upper hand and stomps Solo repeatedly, shades of Steve Austin. From there, Owens hits a kick, clothesline, another clothesline, and goes for a third, but they hit each other. Owens then hits the ropes and drops Solo with a big clothesline!

01:45 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Back from the break and and Solo Sikoa is in control. He pushes Owens into the steel steps and gets back into the ring. A groggy Owens follows. Owens tries to fight back but gets leveled with a strike and Solo gets a one count.

From there, Solo hits the corner hip attack but misses another one and Owens delivers a snap DDT!

01:39 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Following Solo's entrance, Kevin Owens' music hits, and he gets a huge pop. He's wearing a Scotland 3:16 tee. He is also extremely over, as the crowd is behind him.

Kevin Owens vs. Solo Sikoa

This one starts with immediate brawling. Solo flees to the floor, and Kevin follows. They begin fighting around the ringside area. Owens throws Solo into the PRIME stand. Solo fights back, but Owens levels him with a clothesline. He then hits another, and Solo falls hard to the floor. Kevin then hits a frog splash off of the apron as we go to break.

01:36 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Next, the commentators go over the matches for tomorrow. Piper Niven is seemingly going by the nickname "The Scottish Monster" now.

From there, Solo Sikoa's music hits! It's one of the best themes in wrestling, and his entrance is excellent. He comes out alongside Paul Heyman. Due to Nick Aldis ' earlier ruling, Tama and Loa aren't with him.

01:34 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

After the break, Jackie Redmond is in the entranceway, and she invites Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn out. The heels get a big applause from the Scottish crowd. Jackie asks what is going through their minds. Alba says tomorrow night they make history in Glasgow tomorrow night. Isla says they didn't come all the way home just to come home but to be the new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. The crowd seemed to love that.

01:29 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

From there, The Bloodline is shown walking backstage. Nick Aldis pops up and says that because of the attack, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa are banned from ringside, and if they appear, all three are suspended. Paul Heyman then says that if Solo loses to Kevin Owens, he loses his appeal as a leader to guys who barely respect leaders.

Solo then says if he loses, he's coming after Heyman. Wow, Paul is scared!

01:27 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Next, Carmelo Hayes is here! He's in a suite and says LA Knight flew all the way to Puerto Rico just to swim in Logan's pool and let off a weak Aladdin line. Carmelo says Knight thought he cooked but checked the temp: it was medium rare, trash, just like him. Melo says Knight does anything for clout.

Melo then says he doesn't chase opportunities; opportunities chase him. Carmelo then reveals he has an opportunity to get to Money in the Bank next week! He'll then be one step closer to being Melo in the Bank. Great promo.

01:26 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

LA Knight gets out of the pool and grabs his stuff saying they could've had fun sooner if Logan wouldn't avoid him. LA then says he will see Logan in Chicago next week! Oh, that should be very interesting.

01:25 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

After the break we get a look at Logan Paul at a Tetris tournament last week. We then get footage of Logan Paul arriving at his home and a "boy from LA" is in his pool. It turns out to be LA Knight! Logan Paul is furious!

01:19 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Backstage, Kevin Owens walks out of the trainer's room and Jackie Redmond asks for an update. Owens says they won't be able to help him with The Bloodline tonight but he's fought them before and he'll do it again.

Up next, a segment for Logan Paul and LA Knight!

01:19 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Outside of the ring, Tiffany Stratton throws a drink in Michin's face! She throws Tiffany into the announce desk, but the distraction allows Nia Jax to level Michin in the ring. She then hits the A-Nia-Lator for a quick win, but one thanks to interference.

Nia Jax defeats Michin by pinfall

Could Nia and Tiffany be united soon?

01:18 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Nia Jax vs. Michin

Before the match begins, Michin hits a dive on Nia! They then get into the ring and the bell sounds. Mia hits several big strikes and counters everything Nia tries to do. She then hits a dropkick to Nia's knee and even makes Nia Eat Defeat, but Jax goes out of the ring. Michin then pushed Nia into the ring post.

01:17 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

We return and get a video package highlighting Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler ahead of their title match tomorrow.

From there, we see Michin and she'll be going one-on-one with Nia Jax who makes her entrance too. Interestingly, Tiffany Stratton is on commentary for this one.

Next, we get a replay of Michin and Nia's issues from last week.

01:11 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Backstage, Cathy Kelley is with The Street Profits and B-Fab. She asks about them helping Kevin Owens with The Bloodline, but Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa show up and attack both men in the staircase! The Street Profits are hurt and Kevin Owens shows up in a rage, but Nick Aldis and officials stop him from getting to The Bloodline for now.

01:10 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

AJ claims Cody says "I quit" too naturally, just like AJ is Phenomenal naturally. Styles says he's done when he says he's done. The Phenomenal One says beating Cody won't be easy, he saw him in Hell in a Cell with Seth Rollins, but he won't be in there with Seth, he'll be there with Styles. And Styles will do whatever it takes to win, even if it means beating Cody to a bloody pulp or brutalizing Cody so bad he has to say I quit.

Great segment.

01:09 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

AJ says when the going gets tough, Cody gets going. Rhodes says he has made some big decisions in his career. He says he walked away to chase something greater. He says he never quit, but he bet on himself and gambled on himself, and he was right. Rhodes says if he had quit, he would not be a world champion. Cody is fired up.

Cody says he idolized AJ his entire career. He says AJ always did what was right and honorable, and if anybody quit, AJ quit on himself. He then said it took Cody pretending to be Mark Henry for a night to get a title shot. Cody then calls AJ a resentful coward. This segment is excellent.

01:06 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

The crowd is getting so loud that there is a decibel counter image on the side; it is in the 90's. AJ is getting furious and calls the fans idiots. AJ then gets into Cody's face with The Good Brothers gone.

AJ says they're nothing alike. Styles says it took him 17 years to climb the ladder to get to WWE. AJ says they welcomed Cody with open arms and couldn't wait to make Cody a star. AJ then says when things got tough, Cody quit WWE. Styles says he also quit New Japan Pro-Wrestling. AJ then says he quit Ring of Honor. He then says Cody helped start a company and left it, too. Wow. An AEW reference!

01:03 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

AJ Styles takes a microphone on the ramp and says Cody is worked up. He says it's funny how easy it was to get him worked up. The crowd starts chanting over Styles's talking. It sounds like a "Cody... Cody Rhodes" chant.

The American Nightmare asks AJ why he's so far away. He says this was supposed to be a little conversation and says Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows should be left behind, calling them "Horace and Jasper," which is an odd insult.

01:02 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

The crowd starts chanting something unclear, and Cody poses for a pop. Rhodes then says AJ Styles has been given the impossible task of making him say the words "I Quit." AJ then interrupts things!

Of course, he doesn't come alone, as he's with Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

01:00 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Cody Rhodes comes out to a massive ovation from the crowd, signs some autographs, and shakes some hands on the way to the ring. He is so over. The crowd erupts with "Cody" chants once the music stops. Rhodes then asks Glasgow what they want to talk about.

Cody says a few weeks ago, he thought AJ Styles would retire. Rhodes says anyone with the distinction of being in the ring doesn't want to be that guy who overstays their welcome. Cody says, unfortunately, AJ Styles is starting to look like that guy. Ouch! That's a heavy shot.

00:58 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Following the ad break, we see Andrade in the crowd along with Cedric Alexander and Ashante "Thee" Adonis. Good spotlight for the latter two. Pretty Deadly is showcased next. Cool feature for these talented performers.

Next, Cody Rhodes' music hits!

00:52 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

From there, we go to an AJ Styles-Cody Rhodes video package.

We then see Cody Rhodes walking backstage. He'll be face-to-face with AJ Styles next!

00:50 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Crews is first to his feet but they trade blows in the middle of the ring. Crews hits repeated strikes and so does Santos. Then Crews hits a pop-up Death Valley Driver out of nowhere!

Baron Corbin is then jumped by Angel and Berto! This distracts the referee which allows Elektra Lopez to knock Apollo off of the top rope. Santos then pulls off a quick pin and this one is over.

Santos Escobar defeats Apollo Crews by pinfall

Both Apollo and Baron look frustrated by Legado del Fantasma's antics.

00:48 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Apollo picks Santos up and hits a fallaway Samoan drop for a near fall. Crews climbs the ropes but Santos kicks him and climbs to the top too. Santos goes for a superplex, but Apollo fights it and knocks Santos to the mat. Crews then goes for an attack but gets hit with a jumping knee. Both men are down as the crowd cheers them on.

00:47 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Back from break and Santos Escobar is in control. Apollo fights back and hits a big bicycle kick and corner splash. He then hits a huge German Suplex, holds on and hits another one. Apollo then holds onto it even longer and goes for a third, but Santos hits an elbow only to get leveled with a clothesline.

00:42 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Outside of the ring, Santos slams Apollo Crews against the ring apron. He then delivers a kick to Crews, but Baron Corbin's music hits! Corbin runs out and attacks Angel and Berto! He levels both men and sends them flying! This allows Crews and Santos to go toe-to-toe.

Crews hits a big press slam and standing moonsault for a two count. This continues after the break.

00:41 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

It looks like Uncle Howdy is debuting Monday based on those teasers.

Next up, Apollo Crews makes his way out looking for revenge.

Santos Escobar vs. Apollo Crews

This should be interesting. Crews gets the advantage early on, hitting a big suplex on Santos. Escobar goes to the outside and lures Apollo back in and takes advantage with a strike. Apollo counters things, though, but a distraction from Legado allows Santos to hit a big kick.

00:39 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Back from the break, Corey Graves promotes Fanatics Fest for August. From there, we see A-Town Down Under walking backstage. Waller buries DIY, and we then transition to Bayley and Naomi walking. They are interrupted by another Uncle Howdy teaser. From there, they bump into Blair Davenport, who takes a shot at Naomi. These two are heading on a collision course.

Bayley then thanks Naomi for having her back, and they hug. Chelsea Green then shows up and says the title will be "all ours" tomorrow, which leads to Piper Niven crashing into both women and taunting Bayley with the title. A referee shows up to break things up.

00:35 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Next up, Legado Del Fantasma make their way to the ring with Santos Escobar leading.

Santos will be in action after the break.

00:33 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

From there, we get a recap of The Bloodline chaos from last week.

From there, Kevin Owens is joined by The Street Profits and B-Fab. They discuss their friendship and having each other's backs. Kevin Owens seems to genuinely enjoy the three, which makes for a cute moment. The Profits then make it clear they have Owens' back for his match tonight.

00:31 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Johnny says everybody is sick of hearing from Grayson and he wants to talk to Austin. Gargano says he and Theory go way, way back. Johnny says he always believed in Austin Theory and he's proud of what he's done and that's why it kills him to see him get used by Grayson Waller. Johnny says Austin doesn't need him and Waller takes a cheap shot. This leads to a brawl between the four men, including Theory taking a superkick for Grayson.

Waller rolls out as Theory then eats a knee. DIY stand tall and pose with the WWE Tag Team Titles.

00:30 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Ciampa loves Waller's fake confidence and loves being in Scotland. He says they didn't come here to watch his "stupid talk show" but to see a fight. Ciampa says they came to see a fight for the tag team titles and to see it tonight.

Waller mocks them and says they wouldn't defend their titles in a place like Glasgow. The crowd boos. He says DIY won't drive a wedge between them either. Johnny then says DIY is coming for the tag team championships and the crowd loudly cheers for them and chants "DIY".

00:28 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Waller says he would take a bullet for Austin Theory just like A-Town's Finest did for him last week. Johnny challenges this and says Grayson pulled Austin into Johnny last week. Grayson doesn't want the footage shown, but they show it, and Waller blatantly pulls Theory in as a human shield.

Grayson calls it A.I. and then says he's not taking friendship advice from Tommaso Ciampa, of all people. Waller says the clip didn't show him beating Johnny.

00:27 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

The Grayson Waller Effect is usually a fun time and this should be no different. A-Town Down Under taking shots at the fans and having a mini chair with a DIY sign leads to Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa tearing up some of their set.

Waller says they act like children. Tommaso says they don't play their games. He says they're right about one thing: it is his show. He then says does that make Austin Theory his secretary? Austin tries to speak up for himself and Waller interrupts him. More tension between the two?

00:25 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

While the ring announcer introduces A-Town Down Under, more mysterious White Rabbit-like interrupts occur. It looks like they'll be arriving on Monday. Uncle Howdy and maybe the entire Wyatt 6?

From there, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller mock the Scotland crowd and even mention that Scotland is so bad even fake plants can't grow there. They then introduce DIY.

00:23 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Back from the commercial and we get a video package highlighting Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill as WWE Women's Tag Team Champions. They reveal they have targets on their backs. Bianca says they'll ruin The Unholy Union's homecoming. They also make it clear that Zoey and Shayna can't tear them apart.

00:18 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

From there, Aldis reveals he is fining Legado Del Fantasma for their attack last week, and if they pull it again, they'll get a punishment worse than a fine. Nick then says Apollo Crews is cleared for action, and Santos demands a match with Crews tonight.

Up next: The Grayson Waller Effect with DIY!

00:18 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

Piper Niven does not look happy, but could she have issues with Chelsea Green too? Is there tension there now?

We then get a quick look at Legado del Fantasma attacking Apollo Crews last week. We then see Baron Corbin backstage talking to Nick Aldis. He mentions getting a new start after NXT and working through things. Legado then interrupts and before things get serious, Aldis has Corbin leave. That seems to be teasing a future match.

00:16 (GMT)15 JUN 2024

In the ring, Naomi counters a move with a slick pin and picks up the three count! Chelsea can't believe it and Piper Niven is furious. She likely blames Bayley.

Naomi defeats Chelsea Green by pinfall
