Kevin Owens is here despite driving off earlier! He stomps on Cody's bad ankle. Referees and officials show up and Cody gets up fighting Kevin. He hits a huge dive. This is CHAOS! The fans are chanting, "Let them fight," and that's how the show ends. Madness!

Cody manages to break the lock and then hits a bigger Cody Cutter! Fired up, he goes for CrossRhodes but Gable again counters into an Ankle Lock. Gable is a beast. Cody gets to the ropes and breaks it but eats a German Suplex. Chad goes for a moonsault, but Cody moves! He hits the Cross Rhodes, and this one is over!

Fantastic match.

The Creed Brothers pull Chad out of the ring to save him. The referee catches it and sends them out. Gable is furious. Cody rolls Chad up for a two. Gable then hits a chop lock!

Gable takes off Cody Rhodes' boot and locks in an ankle lock!

Cody and Gable go back and forth with strikes as the crowd yay-boos. They are behind Cody fully despite Gable being the hometown boy.

Cody hits a powerslam and a disaster kick, but he's favoring his leg. Rhodes lifts Gable up, but Chad counters. Cody counters next and nails a Cody Cutter!

Gable climbs to the top and hits a beautiful diving headbutt. He then goes up for a moonsault, but Cody stops it. Rhodes meets Gable up top and hits an inverted superplex! WOW!

Back from break and Chad Gable is in firm control. He chops Cody's chest, then hits repeated forearms. Cody attempts a sunset flip, but Gable counters into an ankle lock! Cody fights it off, but a dropkick to the leg takes Rhodes out.

Gable then hits repeated strikes to Cody's chest, and Rhodes collapses.

They trade holds and then chops before Cody hits a face-first suplex. Ivy Nile gets on the apron and distracts Cody, which allows Gable to hit a dragon screw. Gable then slams Cody's leg into the ring post! He might be hurt!

Back from break and Chad Gable makes his way out, and the crowd chants, "YOU SUCK." A fan holds up a sign asking for Matt and Jeff Hardy to be added to the Hall of Fame, and WWE zoomed in on it, perhaps unintentionally. Notably, Dirty Dom was spotted backstage talking to Nick Aldis earlier in the background.

Cody Rhodes vs. Chad Gable

The two exchange holds immediately. This will be great wrestling.

Next, Cody Rhodes' music hits! He makes his way out for a main event match against Chad Gable.

Gunther is here! He shakes hands with Nick Aldis and has a brief staredown with Carmelo Hayes. Gunther walks away, and Hayes critiques Aldis for giving time to RAW stars and not to him. Carmelo teases jumping to RAW, and Aldis says it doesn't sound like a threat but a celebration. Nick says he has something in mind just for him and walks away, leaving Melo alone.

Cole brings up The Usos and Sami Zayn helping Roman too. Kevin says he doesn't care about the Usos and says he'll deal with Sami soon. Is that a teaser?

Michael Cole calls Kevin Owens the problem, and Kevin makes Cole get out of the car. He then drives off.

After the break, DIY is celebrating the win backstage. Candice LeRae shows up and celebrates with them and congratulates them.

We then go to Michael Cole in the parking area with Kevin Owens. Kevin makes Cole sit in the car with him and calls Cody his golden boy. Kevin says he never would've talked to Michael Cole when he first came to WWE if he didn't think it'd help his career. Kevin mocks Cody for leaving WWE in 2016.

DIY celebrates with the titles as heels as Alex Shelley looks on in disbelief. Meanwhile, Michael Cole leaves commentary to go outside to interview Kevin Owens after the break.

Shelley takes advantage of the distraction, and MCMG goes for their Skull and Bones. At the same time, Ciampa grabs a chair and throws it in the ring. The referee removes it, and out of nowhere, Gargano LOW BLOWS SABIN! He kicks a shocked Alex Shelley! Tommaso Ciampa then tags in, and they hit Meet In The Middle, AND NEW CHAMPIONS ARE CROWNED!!

New champions and a heel turn. Wow! Was it planned the entire time?!

Shelley tags back in and Gargano is still down. Ciampa levels Shelley and hits a neckbreaker for a two-count. Johnny is back up, and the crowd chants, "Johnny Wrestling."

Ciampa walks over and tags Johnny in forcefully, almost with a chop. Tommaso isn't happy with something and pushes Johnny. An angry Gargano pushes Ciampa down and tells him to get out, and Johnny says he'll do it himself.

Back from break, Tommaso Ciampa hits a reverse DDT on Shelley for a near fall. He goes for a boot on Alex, but he accidentally hits Johnny on the apron! An angry Tommaso calls Johnny stupid. Chris Sabin manages to take advantage by getting the tag and rushing in. Shelley and Sabin hit multiple double-team moves but can't keep Tommaso down.

Sabin fights back and hits several Armdrags as fans chant "Motor City." Sabin tags in Alex Shelley, and they hit a flurry of strikes. Ciampa tags out, but Johnny refuses to punch Shelley in the face. Ciampa is mad and tags himself back in, yelling at Johnny, before MCMG takes over again.

Next, Motor City Machine Guns' music hits! From there, DIY makes its way out, but Ciampa is all business.

How will this go? Ciampa and Sabin start things off, and Tommaso goes right at him, attacking Chris in the corner.

Next, we get a video from Kevin Owens. He expresses frustration over having to be interviewed by Michael Cole but sarcastically pretends it's amazing before saying it sucks. He says he never wants to be in Minnesota, let alone for a Cole interview. He says if Michael Cole wants to interview him, he has to come out to the car.

Back from break and WWE promotes John Cena's last time in Toronto featuring John Cena.

Backstage, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are talking. Ciampa says Johnny didn't fix things and his ultimatum is still on. Ciampa says he'll see Gargano out there.

The WWE Tag Team Titles match is next.

Solo says he's tired of people not taking him seriously or that he's a joke. He says it isn't fun and games, and he's still their Tribal Chief. He says he's still the Head Of The Table.

He then says anyone who comes out to the ring would need to do what the fans will need to do: acknowledge him.

They tease a confrontation with Nakamura, but he leaks mist from his mouth and leaves the ring. Knight starts fighting back, but Solo levels both The Megastar and LA Knight with the Samoan Spike. Jacob puts the Ula Fala over Solo's neck.

Sikoa says losing Tonga Loa and Bronson Reed doesn't mean The Bloodline is weak. He says if anyone wants any, the Bloodline will lay them out every time.

Knight says Nakamura keeps blindsiding him. He puts on glasses and calls them LA Knight mist blockers. Knight then gets in the ring, but Andrade's music interrupts things! He has a suit on and a microphone. He says he's here for Nakamura. He says he has unfinished business.

Knight says no disrespect, but Nakamura is in debt. Out of nowhere, Tama Tonga shows up and attacks Andrade. Then Jacob Fatu shows up and attacks LA Knight!

Before Nakamura can say a word, LA Knight's music hits. The fans chant "LA Knight," and he says he's in the building. He calls Nakamura the sorriest example of a U.S. Champion. He says Nakamura takes cheap shots to get a cheap victory. He says he wants a rematch, and he wants it now.

Nakamura remains silent.

After the break, Bianca Belair is backstage. Naomi sees her and congratulates Bianca on the win. Naomi is frustrated over losing to Tiffany. Byron Saxton shows up and says Piper Niven did NOT attack Jade, as he saw her personally outside of Gorilla during the match. Naomi goes over numerous suspects, and Bianca Belair says whoever did it, when she finds out, it is on sight.

Then Shinsuke Nakamura comes out!

Still to come tonight. Kevin Owens will be interviewed. Plus, Cody Rhodes vs. Chad Gable is CONFIRMED!

From here, we get a video highlighting Shinsuke Nakamura. He says there has been a rebirth and transformation, which he calls a necessity. He will be out live next.

The crowd is chanting, "This is awesome," and they're right! Chelsea tries to interfere again and Bianca slams her into the ring. She then lifts Piper Niven up and hits an insane KOD to Piper ON TOP of Chelsea! Belair then pins Piper for the win! Fantastic match.

Michael Cole says it may have been the greatest match he's ever seen because Chelsea got buried.

After Bianca channeled Roman with the spear, she goes for the KOD but can't get Piper up. Piper hits a brutal Saito Suplex and then runs at Belair, but the EST hits a Spinebuster! Bianca then goes for a moonsault, but Piper gets her knees up.

Niven then charges with a cannonball and crashes into the turnbuckle. Despite missing, Piper manages to hit a sit-out Powerbomb for a near fall!

Back from break and Piper Niven is in full control. She levels Belair again and goes for a running crossbody, but Bianca moves! Belair slams Piper against the corner posts repeatedly. She then hits a cross body off of the top for a near fall, but Piper kicks out!

Bianca hits a running shoulder tackle and then corner punches Piper, but Niven counters and goes for a powerbomb. Bianca punches her way out and then hits a big spear, but Piper kicks out at two!

Bianca tries to regain control, knocking Piper off of her feet. Chelsea Green then provides a distraction, but Piper Niven hits a Black Hole Slam for a near fall!

From there, we go to our first break.

Next up, Bianca Belair makes her way out. From there, Piper Niven, alongside Chelsea Green, comes out.

These two always have great chemistry. Bianca goes right after Piper, hitting major shoulder tackles. Bianca dominates at first but gets crushed with a crossbody.

Commentary begins discussing the match, but then something happens backstage. They go to Byron Saxton, and The Street Profits are hurt backstage! B-Fab is yelling for help, and Nick Aldis says the match is off with Motor City Machine Guns.

Johnny Gargano shows up and says DIY should slide in and have the match. Aldis initially says no, but Alex Shelley says they're up for it. Aldis agrees but tells Johnny to tell Ciampa not to make him regret it. Wow!

Tiffany breaks the count and throws Naomi to the floor. Tiffany then hits the Prettiest Moonsault Ever and the fans erupt as she wins!

Tiffany Stratton defeats Naomi and Elektra Lopez by pinfall

Minus the awkward botch, this was very good.

Elektra Lopez hits a modified Blue Thunder Bomb for a two-count, but Tiffany breaks it up. All three women start to throw forearms. Naomi begins throwing kicks and hits the Rear View and an x-Factor. Candice LeRae then shows up! She distracts Naomi and Elektra takes over, but Naomi hits a neckbreaker and then a Split Legged Moonsault!

Naomi recovers and hits some big moves, including a double stunner. Women end up on the floor and apron, where Tiffany hits a VICIOUS double stomp on the apron to Naomi. That was brutal.

In the ring, Tiffany and Elektra go at it. Lopez counters a slam into a single crab. "Let's go, Tiffy!" chants. Naomi gets back in, and all three get a few near falls, but nobody wins. Lopez then drives Naomi down for a near fall.

Tiffany Stratton comes back and hits a shoulder tackle and a running dropkick. The crowd loves Tiffany. They're chanting "Tiffy Time." Naomi comes in like a house of fire and does her corner stomps, but a delay from Elektra Lopez causes a botch and Naomi falls to the apron. That was awkward.

Naomi makes her way out next and this match can begin!

Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Elektra Lopez

This should be interesting. Both Naomi and Tiffany are worthy winners. Tiffany and Naomi immediately go at it, which Elektra allows. She eventually tosses Naomi to the floor and Lopez and Tiffany fight. Elektra hits a basement dropkick to Tiffany and forearms Naomi back to the floor.

Next up, Minnesota's own Tiffany Stratton makes her way out! She'll be in the Women's United States Championship Triple Threat Match. Jesse Ventura is shown in the crowd and he'll be doing commentary at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Next, Elektra Lopez makes her way out. Cole confirms that the first half-hour of tonight's show is commercial-free. That's a nice treat.

Backstage, Bianca Belair and Naomi are hanging out. Belair tells Naomi to focus on the Women's United States Championship Tournament, and Naomi heads off. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven then show up. They mock Bianca for losing in the tournament and for trying to be a detective to solve what happened to Jade. Bianca accuses Piper of potentially doing it.

A brawl erupts, and Piper leaves Bianca lying!

Michael Cole confirms the transfer window. Cole says RAW, SmackDown, and NXT General Managers will work together to move talent around to other shows! Wow!

Cody tells Chad to go to Nick Aldis and request a match for tonight. Rhodes says he has Kevin Owens on his mind, and that is no good for Gable.

Wow, what a match that could be!

Cody asks what happens when Gable goes for the end game and he doesn't get it. He asks if Chad will disrespect Brutus or if Ivy will get hurt in his self-destruction. Gable interrupts and says he'll step up and take an opportunity. He says if he didn't have a suit on, he'd whoop him.

Chad Gable says he was inspired by Cody when Rhodes returned but calls him a bad friend like Otis and superficial. He says whatever Kevin Owens does to Cody, he deserves it.

Cody asks if the crowd will be his friend, and they cheer. Rhodes says he is disappointed Gable is the one spewing this, as he sees a lot of himself in Chad. Cody says Chad is known to maximize his minutes. He brings up Chad being Shorty G, and the crowd chants it. He brings up being Stardust.
