Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct LIVE updates: Hi-Fi Rush, ESO Necrom, Redfall, Forza Motorsport, and Minecraft Legends

Xbox and Bethesda's Developer Direct Promises to provide fans with a closer look at some of the upcoming titles. Presented by the developers, the lineup consists of The Elder Scrolls Online, Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall. The show kicks off on January 25, at 12 pm PT/3 pm ET. Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct comes to an end

Xbox Bethesda Developer Direct ends its presentation with a video compilation of behind-the-scenes. All in all, while this short presentation did not blow us away, it presented some great surprises, including Tango GameWorks' Hi-Fi Rush.

Redfall launches May 2nd, and is available for pre-order starting today.

Redfall ends the showcase by revealing its release date of May 2nd, 2023 when it launches on Xbox, Windows PC, and of course, Game Pass Day 1. The game is now up for pre-order.

Redfall's different hero abilities and its arsenal

Players will take on the vampires as one of the four heroes, with each having different ability loadouts, from bullet absorbing umbrella to aoe attack shock stick. There are also different weapons like shotguns, ARs, pistols, and more. players will also be able to customize their weapons with vampire-killing stacks they'll find in the world.

Redfall takes on Vampire in a first-person shooter

Following ESO Necrom, Redfall reveals a closer look. The narrative-driven title can be enjoyed both in single-player and co-op. The developers revealed a look at the base of operation a fire station, where the player will rest and prepare their loadouts.
Next, the gameplay takes a closer look at the different vampires and how to take them on, including a boss first. The developers also showcased side missions including taking on Vampire lairs.

ESO takes players to eastern Morrowind with Necrom

The next Elder Scrolls Online Major Chapter is titled Necrom. It takes players to the Easter Morrowind and the return of a certain Daedric Prince from Skyrim expansion. It also adds a new class.

Hi-Fi Rush surprise launches today

Tango GameWorks Hi-Fi Rush is not only a present surprise reveal, but it is also a surprise release with the game available right after the event on Xbox, PC, and of course on PC

Tango GameWorks reveals their new title, Hi-Fi Rush

The Evil Within and ghostWire Tokyo reveal their new title, Hi-Fi Rush, a rhythm action game featuring animated cell-shaded brightly colored visuals. Players take on the role of Chai, who is able to feel the rhythm around him. The action combat is very much reminiscent of Devil May Cry, but instead of button mashing, it rewards syncing with the music and finding the rhythm rush.

Forza Motorsport features over 500 cars at launch

Moving onto the adrenaline rush title, Turn 10's Forza Motorsport features over 500 cars at launch. The developers have different aspects of the titles from paint finish to the audio tuned for Dolby Atmos, It also features over 20 environments at launch for players to burn the asphalt in.
The Dynamic track changes its look based on the different time of day, with ray tracing.

Minecraft Legends launces April 18, 2023

Minecraft Legends finally gets a release date of April 18th, 2023, when it launches on Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.It'll also launch on Game Pass Day 1.

The developers at Blackbird Interactive and Mojang Studios take a look at Minecraft Legends PvP elements with a close look at the gameplay.In PvP players can either explore the procedurally generated world or collect resources or take on the piglins. Players can build walls around their bases, with different layers and traps to take on the incoming horde. this implements different strategies.

Event kicks off with a tease at a 5th game

The Developer Direct event kicks off with a REDACTED tease at a new title by Tango Gameworks following a short clip highlighting the developers.

Redfall set to get an extended gameplay reveal and a release date

While we have only seen only a snippet of gameplay, coming from the developers of Dishonored, Prey, and Deathloop, Redfall has already garnered a lot of hype. Arkane Studios have promised extended gameplay for the upcoming FPS, including both single-player and multiplayer scenarios, explaining the game's combat, customization, bosses, the open world, and more. The title will also get a release date.

Minecraft Legends expands the familiar title to action-strategy

Minecraft Legends is a PvP multiplayer experience, an action-strategy title set in the Minecraft world where players are tasked with defending against an invasion by the piglins from the Nether. Set for a release during the first half of 2023, the title will certainly get a release date to debut on its numerous platforms including, Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Forza Motorsport enters the track for a 2023 release

Developed by Turn 10 Studios, the eighth mainline Forza Motorsport title is set to be a reboot of the racing sim franchises. The title has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the 9th-generation systems with features such as ray tracing. The title will certainly get a release date for Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC, alongside a day 1 Game Pass release.

Elder Scrolls Online's 2023 Major Chapter reveal

After the massive success of the High Isle last year, fans of ESO are all ready to explore the new regions of Tamriel. Set to be revealed by Studio Director Matt Firor, Developer Direct will soon be followed by the full, standalone ESO Chapter Reveal Event, hosted by ZeniMax Online Studios, taking a closer look at The Elder Scrolls Online's 2023 Major Chapter update.

Xbox and Bethesda have quite a few titles lined up for the future, from Perfect Dark to Starfield, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more updates regarding the future lineup of team green. Developer Direct promises to showcase a few titles from the future roster, including Forza Motorsport, Redfall, Minecraft Legends, and what's next for The Elder Scrolls Online. It should be noted that there won't be any updates regarding Starfield, as Xbox and Bethesda have promised a separate showcase dedicated to the title in the future.
