Minecraft has a new biome called Pale Garden that was released with The Garden Awakens Drop on December 3, 2024. As soon as players started trying the new update, they quickly realized a few issues with new features, especially related to the new biome.
Here are some of the aspects that Mojang could have improved with The Garden Awakens Drop for Minecraft.

List of four aspects Minecraft could have added or improved in The Garden Awakens update
1) Make Pale Gardens more common
When the update first dropped, the most annoying and confusing aspect was that the Pale Garden biome was extremely rare to find in both new and old worlds. Since Pale Garden was the main new area that contained other new features of the Drop, it was essential for players to find it if they wanted to explore what was new.
If they happened to find a Pale Garden, they were small in size with only one or two pale oak trees. Furthermore, those trees do not have a single creaking heart that spawns the new Creaking mob.
When Pale Garden's rarity was explored on the seed map tool, it turned out that it was as rare as some of the rarest biomes like Mushroom Fields.
2) Add a useful resource for survival or combat
Another major issue with the update is the lack of any useful resources for survival or combat. Almost all Pale Garden blocks and items are present solely for building structures and decorating them with new blocks. While this is a massive win for the builder sub-community in Minecraft, it can feel lackluster for those who explore and fight loads of hostile mobs.
Mojang could have added new survival items, interactive blocks to create new items, or even a new special wood weapon made with Creaking's mechanics.
3) Make Creaking drop something more important than resin
Creaking is a new hostile mob that will hunt players at night as long as they are not looking at the mob. Another unique feature about the new mob was that it could not be killed with direct hits to its body. This is because its heart is a block hidden in one of the pale oak trees. When players hit the Creaking, its heart will secrete a new item called resin. Destroying the heart block kills the new mob itself.
However, the mob itself does not drop anything upon death. Hence, the only resource players get from the new mob is resin, which can only be used to craft new building blocks. An argument can be made that Creaking could have dropped something more important, especially since the Pale Garden biome is extremely rare as well.
4) Make eyeblossoms more useful
One of the most interesting blocks in the Pale Garden update was eyeblossoms flowers. Petals of these flowers bloom and close depending on the time of day. Eyeblossoms can also be obtained from wandering traders for a few emeralds. However, their main useful purpose is as a decorative block only.
Even if players can make gray and orange dyes with closed and open eyeblossoms and make suspicious stew, they are not too useful. Both dyes can be crafted with simpler items, and the suspicious stew gives players a blindness effect. Mojang could have added a new throwable blindness potion that can be made with eyeblossoms, making them more useful in combats.
