When players first enter a new world in Minecraft, they do not have any resources to survive on. As they progress through the game and gather resources, they will encounter several creatures (aka mobs) that will either help them or become an obstacle. However, during the early stages of the journey, even the most basic mobs (including those that are passive towards players) can be a nuisance.
Here is a list of a few mobs that can be annoying when starting a new world in Minecraft.

List of 5 Minecraft mobs that can be annoying early in the game
1) Creeper
The Creeper is arguably the most iconic mob in Minecraft. It is a green-colored hostile creature that silently sneaks up to a player and explodes. The explosion will inflict lots of damage to the player and their surrounding blocks. A Creeper can spawn during nighttime and does not burn from sunlight, allowing it to roam around during the day as well.
Hence, new players can be extremely frustrated if a Creeper sneaks up on and explodes near them — not only hurting the player but also destroying anything that they built.
2) Skeleton
When players enter a new world, they will take some time gathering iron and making an iron shield. Furthermore, if players are new to the game, it may take them some time to spot mobs from a distance. In these cases, a Skeleton can annoy a player quite a lot.
It is a hostile mob that has a bow and arrow to shoot players from a distance. If players do not have a shield, they will not be able to block the arrow. Furthermore, a Skeleton can detect players from a distance and shoot surprisingly accurate shots, giving them a jumpscare as well. Hence, this creature can also be annoying to new players.
3) Phantoms
When players start a new world, they typically try to spend all their time mining and getting resources quickly. If they're in the mines for hours, they won't notice when the game's day-night cycle occurs and may end up working through several nights. However, if they fail to sleep for three nights straight, a special hostile mob called Phantom will start spawning during the night.
A Phantom is essentially a hallucination that a player's character will encounter due to insomnia. The creature is also considered quite annoying, especially early in the game since it can fly around and attack players.
4) Enderman
After spending some time in the Overworld, players will notice a tall, dark, and mysterious creature spawning in almost any biome. This creature is called Enderman. Though it is passive towards players in the beginning, it can create some issues as well.
Enderman has a mechanic where it will get angry toward a player if the latter looks at it for a second or two. Furthermore, Enderman is one of the few mobs that can pick up a block with both hands.
The combination of these two features can annoy players during early games, as they will not be able to look around freely for fear of upsetting an Enderman. Moreover, the creature might steal a block from a structure that players make.
5) Wandering Trader
Though most annoying mobs in Minecraft are hostile or neutral in nature, Wandering Trader is uniquely a passive mob that a lot of players in the community consider as annoying. It is a friendly mob that occasionally spawns near a player and offers various items and blocks from the Overworld to the player for a few emeralds.
While it can offer valuable resources, it is not very useful early in the game, considering players do not have a lot of emeralds to spare during those stages.
Furthermore, many players might play Minecraft for a peaceful experience where they quietly build their own safe house. However, a Wandering Trader can annoy them since it spawns near a player and either remains inside or right outside their base.
