List of 5 cool activities players can try in Minecraft 1.21 update

1) Launch from wind charge

Minecraft players can kill the breeze and craft its breeze rods into wind charges. The wind charge is essentially a ranged weapon used by the new mob to knock players back with a burst of wind.

Surprisingly, players can use the wind charge on themselves without taking any major damage as long as they land on the same level of height. If they time their jump correctly and use the wind charge underneath them, they can jump much higher than usual. This provides an advantage in several situations, whether evading hostile mobs or traversing through irregular terrain.

Players can reach higher platforms with the help of wind charge rather than towering up with blocks. It can also be an extremely fun thing to do in the game.

2) Perform a smash attack falling from elytra

The mace is a brand-new weapon in the Minecraft 1.21 update. Its most striking feature is the damage multiplier. When a player falls from a height and performs critical damage, the weapon will essentially consider the falling height and increase the damage inflicted on an entity.

This damage mechanic will also work if players fall from the sky using Elytra and land a shot on an entity with the mace. The mace will truly spice up how players fight against mobs.

3) Multiple mace smash attacks with wind burst

Wind burst is a brand-new enchantment that is exclusive to the mace weapon. It can only be found in ominous trial vaults and has a 5.5% chance of popping out of it.

Wind burst can essentially create a burst of air whenever players use the mace on an entity. Hence, if used correctly, players can jump, perform a smash attack, and get a jump boost with the help of the enchantment.

When timed correctly, players can keep attacking mobs using the mace's smash attacks by jumping with the wind burst powerup. This can be quite fun to perform if players master the timing and aim.

4) Auto-crafting and equipping armor

The crafter block is one of the best redstone components added to Minecraft in recent history. It arrived with the 1.21 update and allows players to automatically craft anything when a redstone signal is passed through it.

One of the crafter block's best uses was showcased by Mojang while introducing it in 2023. The studio showcased how a few developers went into battle in the trial chambers. Before that, they went through a contraption that automatically crafted various armor parts and dispensed them whenever a player stepped on a pressure plate.

The dispensers were placed in such a way that the players automatically equipped the armor parts as they crossed a door surrounded by dispensers.

5) Make a railway system through Nether portals

Right before releasing the Minecraft 1.21 update, Mojang Studios brought some major changes to how players can pass through the Nether portal. The developer made it possible for minecarts to directly go through the Nether portal.

Players can sit inside a minecart and enter a different dimension than the one they were in previously. This means players can create railway systems with minecarts that can enter or come out of the Nether through the portal. A railway system can make it extremely easy to travel through the hellish realm.
