However, while potions can give you a massive advantage in combat or exploration, some of them aren't easy to make and need specific ingredients.

The Potion of the Turtle Master is one of the hardest potions to brew since it requires a turtle shell helmet. The turtle shell helmet is a rare item that can only be crafted with five turtle scutes, which are dropped by baby turtles when they grow up.

These baby turtles only have a 10% chance of spawning naturally. On the other hand, players can breed two turtles using seagrass, protect their egg for several in-game days, and then spawn a baby turtle that will only drop one scute.

This makes it clear that brewing the Potion of the Turtle Master is the hardest of all.

2) Potion of Regeneration

The Potion of Regeneration is also a difficult potion to brew since it requires Ghast tears. This particular item can only be obtained by killing a Ghast and looting it. Though the ghost-like creature in the Nether always drops one ghast tear upon death, players usually fight it from a distance and the dropped item could fall through the Nether's irregular terrain.

Even if players do obtain a ghast tear, they will only be able to brew one potion of regeneration with it, after which they have to go on another hunt. The only way to brew this potion easily is to create a Ghast farm, which is also quite tricky.

The potion of Leaping is quite difficult to brew since it requires a rabbit's foot. A rabbit's foot is an item that can either be obtained from rabbits upon their death or cats when players wake up in the morning. Upon death, rabbits have a 10% chance of dropping their foot as loot. Meanwhile, cats have a 16% chance of giving their master a rabbit's foot as a gift when they wake up.

Though the chances of rabbits dropping a foot can be increased with the looting enchantment, it is still an uncommon item to obtain, especially if you want to craft multiple Potions of Leaping.

4) Potion of Fire Resistance

The Potion of Fire Resistance is also a difficult one to brew since it requires magma cream. Though this item is fairly easy to obtain compared to the others mentioned above, it can still be tricky at times. Magma cream has a 25% to 57% chance of being dropped by Magma Cube mobs themselves. Meanwhile, the item can also have 44% and 33% chances of being in a chest inside a Bastion Remnant.

Since killing Magma Cubes or exploring Bastion Remnants can be hard, it makes brewing the Potion of Fire Resistance quite tough.

Moreover, Breeze can be tricky to kill, especially if other hostile mobs have spawned from several new trial spawner blocks.
