Shears are a great tool in Minecraft that can be used in several scenarios. It is an underrated tool that is often not used by players, however, it is ideal for certain tasks.

Though players can majorly use it to obtain more wool blocks from a sheep without killing it, this nifty instrument can be used for other things as well.

Shears can be easily made with two iron ingots placed diagonally on each other. As players enter the world, they first kill sheep to obtain wool and make their first beds, however, they later get to know about shears. However, many new players might not know of other uses of the tool that can help them in several situations.
