Minecraft has joined forces with NoxCrew's regular competitive MCC championship series ahead of the upcoming Ender Cup with the MCC Party server, which can be accessed on Bedrock Edition. In addition to providing tons of minigame excitement, there are 15 server challenges that will allow players to unlock a special 15th Anniversary cape cosmetic for their avatars.
But what exactly are these Minecraft challenges and how can they be beaten? 14 of the challenges are pretty straightforward, while the 15th one will require logging into the MCC Party server and solving a puzzle using seven clues released for seven straight days.

Challenge completion tips
The vast majority of challenges, as one might expect, involve completing objectives within this Minecraft server's minigames. However, 10 of the challenges will require you to wear a team beanie cosmetic to complete them, which can be purchased from the server shop for the price of 250 coins. These coins can be obtained simply by successfully finishing any minigame on the server.
With that in mind, once you hop into the server, it's recommended to find the minigame you enjoy the most and farm it for 2,500 coins. Then, head to the hats shop (found to the right of the Meltdown minigame area) and purchase each team beanie. You can then participate in each minigame as much as possible, focusing on the challenge objectives instead of simply aiming for the best score.
Meanwhile, by diversifying the Minecraft minigames you're participating in, you'll be able to complete the challenges of finishing each of the four minigames on the server. This leaves the mystery cave challenge, which may be the most difficult since simply practicing the minigames won't be enough to complete it.
According to Mojang, the hidden cave will gain one additional clue each day for seven days starting when the server opens on July 22. This means all of the clues won't be available until July 29, but each one can be completed once per day until you've finished all seven Minecraft puzzles. It also isn't a bad idea to know where the cave can be found to make sure you can check out the clues each day.
From the server spawn, head toward the Meltdown minigame but then turn left. You should notice a sizable cave area with a Toy Vendor inside where you can buy Gifting Boxes. Follow the purple road toward the shop, but turn left again after passing the amethyst clusters to find a water elevator that can be used to place you near the secret cave mouth, marked by a small rest area with multiple cakes.
Once inside the cave, you'll find all of the available cave paintings that exist as clues as well as the Puzzle Helper NPC, who is working diligently to figure out what the clues mean. If you're feeling stuck, talking to this character might be a good way to complete these Minecraft cave puzzles as he'll have some words of wisdom.
Additional tips for the Minecraft Championship Team Beanie challenges
- Lime Llamas: The fastest way to complete this challenge would be to buy ten gift bags after you have sufficient coins (1,000 total), then return to the main lobby and simply dispense your gifts to other players as they join the server.
- Red Rabbits: Enter the Ace Race minigame and find the red launch pad a short distance from the minigame's start point that's flanked by two Speed Boosts. Simply keep running over the launch pad until you've done so 50 times, then complete the Ace Race course.
- Orange Ocelots: Immediately from the spawn point of the Ace Race minigame, run rapidly between the first two Speed Boosts on the course until you've done so 100 times, then complete the course.
- Pink Parrots: Make your way to the first Elytra Gate of Ace Race, equip your elytra, then jump off the level using the nearby chasm to respawn in front of the gate, where you can pass through the gate three times and then complete the course. You'll need to complete the Ace Race challenge with this tactic multiple times, but the progress is cumulative, so you won't lose progress and won't have to finish the Minecraft challenge in one Ace Race run.
- Yellow Yaks: Unfortunately, there's no quick fix for this Minecraft challenge. You'll need to complete Meltdown and defeat as many frozen enemies as possible and keep finishing the minigame until the challenge is done. Fortunately, like most other challenges, this one is cumulative, so you can repeat Meltdown as much as you need to.
- Green Geckos: While there's no easy solution for this cumulative challenge, painting blocks on the far side of the Grid Runners map, away from players, can help you complete it faster.
- Purple Pandas: Once the cake-baking test begins, head left immediately and break and collect the wheat before heading to the top-left of the area and collecting as much sugar cane as possible. These two ingredients are arguably the fastest to collect, so grabbing the wheat and then focusing on the sugar cane will be a great way to make progress.
- Aqua Axolotls: The Lost Pearl is found in the Grid Runners course on the left side of the approach to the finish line. As long as you're wearing the Aqua Axolotls Beanie, it should appear as a floating item and be pretty easy to spot. Simply check the pools to the left of the end of the course before you cross the finish.
- Cyan Coyotes: Enter Sands of Time and collect coins around the spawn room before heading into adjacent chambers. This Minecraft challenge will usually take repeated efforts but simply take your time and collect as many coins as you can before completing the minigame.
- Blue Bats: Several sand repositories can be found directly up and to the right of the spawn point, and more can be found in the upper levels of the spawn chamber, but they'll require a little Minecraft parkour skill to reach. Ignore the mobs beyond the spawn as much as possible and check all adjacent chambers and cells as quickly as possible, then complete Sands of Time.
- Mystery Cave (Wave): Return to the spawn point and use the default Minecraft wave emote to complete this Minecraft cave puzzle.
- Mystery Cave (Party Popper Statue): Purchase a party popper at the Toy shop and then enter the minigame area for Sands of Time. Approach the yellow-eyed statue to the left of the "start game" interactable, then turn left once you're incredibly close to it to find a wooden slab bridge. Cross the bridge then hop across the nearby logs, jump onto the pillar across from the logs, and climb the stairs. You'll find a statue with blue eyes, approach it and use your party popper.
- Mystery Cave (Crowned Duck): From the spawn, head toward Sands of Time and cross the Speed Boost bridge, then turn right to find a crowned duck on a small body of water. Swim to where its beak is and head underwater to find a trapdoor. Press the nearby pressure plate to open the trapdoor and pass through to find a sequence of parkour courses. Complete these courses by heading upward to find an end portal frame filled with water. Jump into the water to complete this puzzle.
- Mystery Cave (Disco Ball): Begin by purchasing a disco ball at the Toy Shop underneath the cave, then head through the portal to the Grid Runners minigame. Instead of starting the minigame, turn right and head through the nearby door and then down its stairs to reach the viewers' stands. Keep moving until you reach the area of the stands that is viewing the Copy the Painting portion of the minigame and take the stairs near the large gift boxes. Take the stairs as high as they'll go and turn right to find several characters watching in the stands. Find the one with starry eyes, approach it, and use your disco ball.
- Mystery Cave (Cake on the Helipad): Begin by purchasing a cake slice for 20 coins at the Food Shop between the Sands of Time and Ace Race minigame areas. Travel to the Meltdown minigame and head to the right of the "join queue" controller to find a doorway, then pass through it. Follow the stairs to your left and follow the pathway to find a striped black/yellow opening on the far side wall. Approach the opening and you'll find platforms to hop across to it. Once you're past the opening, use the ladder to climb up to the next area and hop on the blocks in the area until you're on top of the umbrella, leaping over a nearby fence gate. You'll find another Minecraft parkour course with an L-shaped platform. Use the crates to reach the platform and use it to hop over another fence. Next up, use the environment to jump on a large cross beam to access a set of diamond stairs to reach another cross beam, finally bringing you to a helipad. Stand on the helipad and eat your cake slice to complete this Mystery Cave puzzle.
- Mystery Cave (Mountain Fireworks): Begin by heading down to the Toy Shop and purchasing the Birthday Fireworks for 40 coins. Go back to the mystery cave, but instead of going inside, head to the right of the small outdoor lounge area to find some blocks you can use to climb even higher up the mountain. Reach the very top of the mountain and once you're at the peak, use your fireworks to complete the task.
- Mystery Cave (Clapping and the Crowned Frog): Start this final Minecraft Mystery Cave puzzle by equipping the Simple Clap emote (which is unlocked by default in Bedrock Edition). Begin the Ace Race minigame and progress until you find the pink castle, approach it and you'll find a brown door. Use the clapping emote on the door to open it, then progress into the castle's throne room to find a crowned frog on the throne. Interact with it and choose "Kiss the Frog" to complete this puzzle.
With the completion of all the Minecraft x MCC Party server puzzles, you'll have collected every available Character Creator cosmetic including the MCC Anniversary cape, which should be a nice way to show off your prowess as a minigame player and cave clue detective. Wear it with pride, as this cosmetic certainly took plenty of time and effort to obtain.
