Pigs are one of the oldest Minecraft mobs. Since being added, they have hardly gone through major visual changes and remained the same for 15 years. However, Mojang has now decided to bring new variants of pigs based on where they spawn in the Overworld.

With Minecraft 1.21.60.25 beta and preview version, they have added two new warm and cold variants of pigs. If the mob spawns in biomes like Savanna, Savanna Plateau, Windswept Savanna, Jungle, Sparse Jungle, Bamboo Jungle, Eroded Badlands, Wooded Badlands, or Badlands, they will have an orange color and texture.

If a pig spawns in biomes like Old Growth Pine Taiga, Old Growth Spruce Taiga, Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Windswept Hills, Windswept Gravelly Hills, or Windswept Forest, they will have a pastel yellow color and unique texture.

Falling leaves from all trees

When Mojang Studios released the Cherry Grove biome, it tested out how falling tree leaves would look like with cherry trees. Later, it added the same visual feature to the new Pale Garden biome in pale oak trees. After seeing it work perfectly in both new biomes, the developers finally decided to implement the feature across the Overworld.

With the latest Minecraft Bedrock 1.21.60.25 beta version, Mojang has added a falling leaf feature to every single tree that generates in the Overworld. Since each tree has a different leaf color, the falling leaves will also match those on the tree.

Easier lodestone crafting recipe

A lodestone is a block that allows players to connect a compass to it, which points toward the block. This is a special block that can work in all three dimensions. It is used by players to easily find a specific location with the help of the compass connected to the placed lodestone block. However, the block was extremely expensive to craft since it required a netherite ingot.

In the Minecraft 1.21.60.25 beta and preview version, Mojang finally made a major change to lodestone's crafting recipe, replacing the need for a netherite ingot with an iron ingot. Since iron ingots are extremely easy to obtain early in the game, the lodestone will become quite easy to craft.
