The Minecraft x MCC Party server is available for Bedrock Edition players to enjoy ahead of the upcoming Ender Cup. This server will run from July 22, 2024, until August 4, 2024, at 3pm PST/August 5, 2024, at 12am CET. It offers 15 challenges through which you can collect various cosmetics. This includes the puzzling Mystery Cave Challenge, where you deduce the instructions of strange cave paintings.
During the first seven days of its availability, the Minecraft x MCC Party server will debut a new cave painting within its Mystery Cave. Moreover, one Mystery Cave puzzle can be solved per day. This means you will need to log in and complete seven days' worth of puzzles to finish the Mystery Cave Challenge, which will provide the MCC Crown cosmetic.
Additionally, completing the Mystery Cave Challenge is a requirement to obtain the Minecraft x MCC 15th Anniversary Cape, so it doesn't hurt to examine how to complete its various puzzles.

How to find the Mystery Cave in the Minecraft x MCC Party server
Even though it's called the Mystery Cave, finding this location in the Minecraft x MCC Party server is pretty easy. The mountain housing the cave is found to the left of the Meltdown minigame area, and you can easily reach it by taking a water elevator. After disembarking the elevator, the cave entrance will be one of only two features at the top of the mountain, so you shouldn't have much trouble finding it.
Steps to find the Mystery Cave
- From the server's spawn point, head toward the Meltdown minigame area.
- After passing the first Speed Boost pad, take a left and pass the tree, cactus blocks, and nearby stalagmites. Enter the nearby cave marked by a large red sign inside that signifies the location of the Toy Shop. Follow the purple road.
- Once you pass the amethyst clusters, take a left, and you'll find the water elevator that leads up to the cave mouth.
- Take the water elevator up to the top of the mountain and walk past the nearby rest area (marked by multiple cakes) to find the entrance to the Mystery Cave.
The solutions to every Minecraft x MCC Party Mystery Cave puzzle
Puzzle 1 - The Wave
This first Mystery Cave puzzle is pretty simple, though the cave painting may not be the best possible clue. The painting shows a hand waving over a crown symbol, the very same symbol seen at the server's spawn point near where Jens and Agnes are residing. To solve this puzzle, simply return to the spawn area and stand on the crown symbol. Then, use the wave emote
Since the wave emote is available in Bedrock Edition by default, all players have access to it. You can easily head to the spawn using your Teleport Map item or on foot and open your emote wheel. Then, use the wave emote to complete this puzzle.
Puzzle 2 - Party Popper and the Blue-Eyed Statue
This Mystery Cave puzzle first appeared on July 23, 2024, and depicts a strange blue-eyed statue face as well as a party popper. Fortunately, this puzzle also takes very little time to complete, but you'll need 40 coins earned from playing minigames to accomplish it. However, 40 coins are easily obtainable by completing even one minigame, so all that's left is to find the statue.
Begin by taking your 40 Minecraft coins to the Toy Shop, which can be found directly underneath the Mystery Cave and is marked by a red sign with a shopping cart. Interact with the merchant and purchase a party popper item.
Next up, head to the Sands of Time minigame area through its portal and look to the left of the "start game" interactable to notice a face statue with yellow eyes.
Approach the statue and once you're facing it, turn left again to find small wooden bridges made of slabs. Cross them and then hop across the logs to the left to reach a pillar with a set of stairs connected to them. Jump onto the pillar and climb the stairs to find the blue-eyed statue, covered in greenery.
Approach the statue and use your party popper when in front of it to complete this Minecraft puzzle.
Puzzle 3 - King of Ducks
This Mystery Cave puzzle should be easy for any Minecraft player who has spent time roaming near the Sands of Time minigame area. The cave painting references a duck with a crown, the same structure near the Sands of Time minigame entrance. To find this structure if you haven't already, return to the server spawn and head through the gateway to Sands of Time, then turn right.
You'll find a body of water with a large duck wearing a crown. From here, swim towards the duck's beak then head underwater to find a small trapdoor surrounded by some kelp. Pass through the trapdoor by using the nearby pressure plate to find yourself in a hidden chamber connected to a series of parkour courses. Proceed through the courses by focusing on moving upward.
At the end of the Minecraft parkour courses, you'll find an end portal frame standing upright and filled with water. Simply jump into the water and transport yourself out of the hidden area to complete this puzzle.
Puzzle 4 - Disco Time
This Minecraft puzzle shows a character with stars in its eyes staring at a disco ball, which some observant players may recognize from the arena of the Grid Runners minigame. To complete this puzzle, you'll need to start by heading to the Toy Shop underneath the cave and purchasing a disco ball item for 60 coins, then head through the portal to the Grid Runners minigame.
Instead of starting the minigame in the Grid Runners arena, head through the doorway to your right and down the stairs to reach the arena's viewing stands. Keep moving along the side of the arena until you reach the area where the "Copy the Painting" area of the minigame is, then take the staircase near the large present boxes and make your way to the top of the stands.
After you reach the top of the staircase, take the doorway to the right to enter a room filled with characters that resemble those in the cave painting. Find the individual with starry eyes, then use the disco ball to complete this puzzle.
Puzzle 5 - Meltdown Cake Treat
The 5th MCC Mystery Cake puzzle is located inside the Meltdown. Before you head straight to the Meltdown, make sure to buy a cake from the Foods NPC. You can find the NPC by going towards Sands of Time from spawn and taking a right turn to find the store. The cake costs 20 coins, so make sure you have enough coins to buy a cake.
Then, head to the Meltdown, and from there you will have to try and reach the helipad on the roof of the Meltdown. The path is quite long and requires you to show off a bit of parkour skills. We recommend you watch the video above by YouTuber Eckosoldier to find the path to Meltdown's roof. Once you are at the top, look for the helipad and eat the cake while standing on it to complete the challenge.
Puzzle 6 - Mountain Fireworks
The 6th mystery puzzle challenge is all about enjoying a fire show at the top of the tallest mountain in the MCC event server. You will need to purchase a firework from the toy store. If you don't know where the toy store is, just go to spawn and start heading towards Meltdown. Take the first left turn and look for a road made of purple carpet. Follow this path to get to the toy store.
Once you have purchased a firework, go back to spawn and head towards Grid Runners. Just before entering Grid Runners, go right towards the snowy mountains. Climb your way up the mountain and launch the firework to complete the 6th mystery challenge.
Puzzle 7 - Kissing the Frog
The final Mystery Cave clue for the Minecraft x MCC Party depicts a crowned frog, a door, and what appears to be clapping. With this in mind, equip your Simple Clap emote (which is a default emote accessible to all Bedrock Edition players) before heading to and beginning the Ace Race minigame. However, when you reach the large pink castle in the minigame, approach it to find a brown door.
Once you're in front of the door, activate your Simple Clap emote to open a way into the castle. Progress through the castle and into the throne room where you'll find a crowned frog sitting atop a throne. Interact with the frog and select "Kiss the Frog" to give the royal frog a smooch, completing this challenge.
