"Alright, time to buff the Warden": Minecraft player's epic battle with Warden using Wind Burst enchantment sparks debate on its power

Minecraft finally got the Tricky Trials update after months of waiting and there are a lot of interesting things players are finding out as they try all the new features in the game. One such item is the powerful new weapon called the mace. It can be made using the heavy core block and the breeze rod. Calling the weapon ‘powerful’ would be an understatement.

A Minecraft player and Reddit user by the name of u/BlackBird_6 shared a short video clip showing them in an ancient city fighting the warden. They used a mace with the Density and Wind Burst enchantments. The warden died after sustaining a few blows from this powerful Minecraft weapon.

Although maintaining the hit streak while being launched in the air was challenging, we overlook how overpowerful the mace is since it can kill the warden, one of the most difficult mobs in the game, with just a few blows.

Reacting to this clip, u/Minister_xD commented:

The Redditor felt that the developers needed to make the warden more powerful so that it could be challenging to beat it even with the mace.

Another Redditor, u/creativeguy66v3, replied to the comment jokingly saying that Mojang Studios should give the warden long arms so that it could grab the player.

However, not all the people on the subreddit agreed that the mace is overpowered. u/Tundra_ex commented saying the video shows the player doing something very difficult and that an average player would not be able to use the weapon this way.

Another player, u/Poke_Gamerz, pointed out that the clip showed the player using night vision as the warden used the darkness effect to make everything around it pitch black.

u/yobob591 criticized most of the comments and said they could not understand why people were complaining that the weapon was too powerful as Minecraft is mostly a single-player sandbox game and PvP servers can easily block the weapon.

Another user by the name of u/AndronixESE argued that the weapon was suited for a high-risk, high-reward playstyle.

Minecraft gets new items with the Tricky Trials update

The mace is one of the multiple new items in Minecraft that arrived in the Tricky Trials update. The vault and the trial key have also been added to the game. The trial key is needed to open the vault which contains rare items.

The vault can be opened only once by a player. So in a multiplayer server, all players can get a rare loot item by opening the vault (unlike opening a chest that has limited loot), and the player who finds it gets to keep the most of it.
