Bundles are perhaps the single most controversial item in Minecraft's long and storied history. Originally revealed all the way back in 2020, they were supposed to be Mojang's solution to the inventory issue but have yet to be officially added to the game, even four years later. Thankfully, this is changing, with Mojang announcing that the items are coming in the near future.
Bundles are finally available in Minecraft Bedrock. With Minecraft 1.21.30.23 beta and preview, Mojang has added bundles as an experimental feature to Bedrock Edition. Everything players need to know about the official release of bundles on Bedrock, as well as how to try them out now, can be found below.

Bundles were first announced for Minecraft Bedrock in June 2024's Minecraft Monthly video. Unfortunately, Mojang was quite vague in the video where they announced the upcoming release of bundles. All that Bui states at 5:25 in the video is that players should:
"Keep an eye out for bundles coming to Bedrock Betas and Previews coming on Minecraft.net."
There's almost nothing to go off of in this comment. However, even in a statement like this, there's information to glean. Being told to "keep an eye out..." implies that the update isn't too far away, as players should be ready and watching for it. Bui also states in the same paragraph:
"Have a great summer everyone. See you in a few months."
Hopefully, this is a fun nod to summer break rather than an actual comment as to when bundles can be expected for Bedrock. Although after four years of waiting, a few more months almost doesn't seem that bad. As bundles are finally available in latest Minecraft Bedrock beta and preview, players can expect to see them making into the official game soon.
How to play with bundles in Minecraft Bedrock
1) Download Minecraft Bedrock beta and preview
Right now, bundles are available only in Minecraft beta and preview This means that anyone wanting to try them out will need to launch Minecraft preview , either from the game's official launcher or one of the many incredible alternative Minecraft launchers out there. If you are on Android, you can download Minecraft beta from PlayStore.
2) Create a new world
Once the game is open, players will want to hit the "Play Preview" button and then the "Create New" button. Since bundles are an experimental Minecraft game setting, they'll need to be enabled during world creation.
3) Activate the bundle
Click the "Experiments" tab at the bottom within the world creation screen. There are currently two toggleable experiments: Minecraft's villager trading rebalance and the bundle. As previously mentioned, these need to be selected before creating the world. Toggle "Bundles" option and then hit "Done."
4) Try it out in-game
Now that the bundle is activated, create the world and make one. Crafting a bundle requires a decent amount of rabbit hide. Due to the flat, open nature of deserts, they're the best biomes to hunt for these Minecraft mobs. Players will also need string, so be sure to keep an eye out for spiders while hunting for rabbits.
