Minecraft fans are many things besides lovers of Mojang's sandbox game. Many of them are also fans of anime and manga. This has led to countless anime/manga-themed mods for the game, including those centered on Eiichiro Oda's sea-spanning epic One Piece. As one of the shonen genre's crown jewels, it's no surprise that many One Piece-themed mods have surfaced in the community.

For this reason, it doesn't hurt to take a look at some of the best One Piece-themed mods for Minecraft players to enjoy on their quest to become King of the Pirates.

1) One Piece Origins

Technically, One Piece Origins is an extension of the beloved Origins mod that allows players to outfit themselves with special stats and abilities upon entering a new world.

However, One Piece Origins is a fantastic One Piece mod all the same. It provides six new origins to the Origins mod, all of which are themed around various Devil Fruit powers and other abilities from the anime/manga. This includes being able to use Haki, the Glint-Glint and Smoke-Smoke Fruits, the beloved Flame-Flame Fruit, as well as the Rumble-Rumble Fruit and the Rokushiki.

However, for Devil Fruit users, the experience is authentic; players won't be able to swim and will actively take damage when immersed in water. It's a trade-off, but one players might be willing to take.

2) Mine Mine no Mi

A One Piece Minecraft mod centered on adventure and combat, Mine Mine no Mi introduces 52 Devil Fruits and over 300 abilities, alongside several fighting styles, techniques, classes, and in-universe factions. Custom-made pirate, marine, and animal mobs roam the game world, and players can also find new structures to challenge like genuine pirate ships or marine bases.

On top of it all, this mod features a robust questing system and even the ability to customize a Jolly Roger to create a custom pirate crew, making multiplayer even more immersive.

3) OP Craft

While this One Piece mod isn't exactly an overhaul of Minecraft, it still adds plenty of content from the anime/manga while keeping the game relatively intact.

The mod introduces dozens of blocks, items, and pieces of gear centered around One Piece. Players can battle opponents with a Flintlock Gun, mine new resources like Steel and Dark Steel, and equip the iconic pirate clothes of Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates.

There's much more to this mod as it's a work in progress, but it strikes a solid balance between the vanilla game and the world of One Piece without diving too deep in the latter's direction.

An RPG-heavy One Piece mod for Minecraft roleplayers, Prime Piece begins with players spawning and looking for ships to loot, as their silver and gold chests can contain Devil Fruits to provide them spectacular powers. From there, players can explore the world, battle mobs and bosses to gain experience, and allocate stat points into their build while refining their abilities.

Not to be outdone, several of One Piece's iconic characters can be found in the environment and are willing to share some techniques of their own. Players can also accrue bounty for their exploits and continue pushing their powers until they've conquered the seas of their world as the Pirate King.

In this One Piece mod, players will begin their quest by starting on the path of a pirate or a member of the navy, battling foes and swiping treasure to improve their abilities and access powerful items and gear from the world of the anime/manga, including Devil Fruits and iconic weapons. Along the way, players will encounter characters from the series and even square off against them in battle.

Despite this mod still being a work in progress, it's one of the better One Piece mods available at the moment in terms of sheer content. There's no shortage of foes to face and friends to make.
