Minecraft isn't a perfect game mechanically. This sometimes leads to glitches and bugs as the game continues to be developed. While some bugs aren't those that players want to experience, others, like duplication glitches, can be incredibly beneficial. In fact, many duplication glitches have remained in the title for years and continue to rack up free blocks/items for players.
Mojang is still actively working to patch out several bugs, including duplication glitches. However, it doesn't hurt to examine some of the best working duplication glitches as of version 1.20.6. Some may be fixed in the future, but this is far from guaranteed, while others may be around for quite some time.

5 of the best working Minecraft duplication bugs
1) TNT Duplication
Though there are different designs for Minecraft TNT dupers, most operate on a relatively similar principle.
By causing collisions between minecarts, TNT blocks, and dead coral fans using pistons and sticky blocks like honey or slime, players can duplicate TNT blocks and prime them immediately. While this isn't great for storing free TNT blocks, it's excellent for mining and clearing out terrain.
Moreover, since TNT duplication doesn't require many resources, building a TNT duper is incredibly easy, and it can work as long as players need to if it's automated.
2) Tripwire String Duplication
Much like TNT dupers, duplicating strings in Minecraft using tripwires can be accomplished with different designs. However, most of the designs operate in a relatively similar sense.
Two tripwire hooks are linked via string. Some form of blocks, be that an armor stand or nearby trapdoors, are placed nearby as the string is broken, unexpectedly causing it to generate en masse.
Since fishermen villagers are known to purchase string for emeralds. This glitch can be useful for farming emeralds in addition to the crafting purposes that string already has.
3) Carpet Duplication
In most ways, carpet duplication glitches work about the same as TNT duplication, thanks to the presence of dead coral fans. Through the use of pistons, slime/honey blocks, and an observer block at the base of the slime/honey blocks, the carpets placed near the dead coral fans can collide and create an endless source of carpet drops.
While carpet may not be the most useful resource in the game, it can at least be helpful for players who love colorful decoration. Players can use it as an infinite fuel source in smelters before ever finding lava or pointed dripstone.
4) End Portal Duplication
Although this duplication glitch only applies to gravity-affected blocks like sand, gravel or Ender Dragon eggs, it can still be pretty lucrative. The basic design for the duplicator involves sealing the lava beneath an end portal and then placing fence blocks underneath it. The portal can then be activated and gravity-affected blocks can be dropped into it from approximately six blocks high.
Once a handful of blocks have fallen into the portal, players can hop into the end. They will then notice that the blocks they dropped in have duplicated.
5) Chest Inventory Reload Duplication
This duplication glitch may get patched out quickly, but it has proven to be one of the best of its kind in Minecraft Java Edition. The process essentially comes down to players filling their inventories with items/blocks they'd like to duplicate. They shopuld then make adjustments to their in-game settings and then exit the world before re-entering and placing their inventory items in a chest or barrel.
From there, players can end the game via their operating system's task manager before loading back in, where the items in their inventory should be duplicated to mirror the chest/barrel.
