Minecraft is a game that brings a brand new experience for every player. One player might play the game completely differently than the other, and that’s the beauty of this game. This nature of the title is the reason why many players end up in hilarious situations. From horses spinning around to floating sheep, the list of interesting events in the game is very long. Now it seems that another item has been added to this list.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user u/Hawthorn_Fan shared a couple of images on the game's subreddit showing how an iron golem kept following them across multiple biomes and crossed a river somehow and reached their base to attack them. The image shows the iron golem looking at the player and slowly walking towards them.
Reacting to the funny predicament, u/Not_Zee_9291 commented:

"Bro really wants vengeance."
The original poster replied to the comment saying that they might have killed a villager and forgot about it. But the thing about iron golems is that they never tend to forget, or in this case forgive as well. Another user u/jurassicpry joked how the Iron Golem must have felt like Batman thinking that it was vengeance. The actual reason could be that it might be a bug as Minecraft has quite a lot of them.
But it seems that the jokes and pop culture references did not end there. u/Demonking42069 jokingly asked whether the original poster killed the iron golem’s dog and stole his car, a reference to the movie John Wick in which John Wick chases and finds the killer. u/WeenSenseii used a very popular quote from the same movie describing the Iron Golem instead of John Wick.
u/TheDaduBoii commented that this post reminds them of a certain snail. The original poster replied by saying “oh god.”
For people who might be confused about it, the snail thing is a popular internet question wherein a person can get whatever they want with the only condition being that a snail will keep following them. If they reach them, it will kill them.
u/emoAngelBoii asked whether iron golems have memory or do they remember even after the player leaves the village chunk for days on end. u/fiction57 commented that iron golems do not have a memory and will forget the player once they leave and come back again. But this particular iron golem hates the original poster.
Hilarious encounters in Minecraft
This is not the first time a player has shared their predicament in the game. Recently, another player reported that their horse would not stop spinning after they named it. Many Redditors mentioned how it was the azalea plant that made mobs spin if they were on top of it.
So it seems that the iron golem not forgetting might be a bug that stopped it from forgetting the original poster. If this was a feature, it would be a nightmare for players as almost every player has hit a villager or two either knowingly or by mistake.
