Minecraft and its long-running championship organizers at NoxCrew have debuted an entertaining Bedrock Edition server known as MCC Party ahead of the Ender Cup tournament. On this server, players can complete all of its challenges to collect an MC Championship 15th anniversary cape. However, is it available for Java Edition players? Sadly, this isn't the case at the moment, but that may change.
Like the capes made available during the Minecraft 15th Anniversary Celebration, it's possible that Mojang will make the MC Championship cape available on Java at a later date to ensure that players of the edition aren't left out of a Bedrock server reward. This isn't guaranteed, but there are some signs that suggest the developer will extend the cape to Java Edition in the future.

Mojang hasn't said whether the Minecraft Championship anniversary cape will be made available for Java Edition players in the future. However, its connection to the game's 15th anniversary makes it a prospective choice to add to Java Edition for the following reasons:
- Multiple Minecraft 15th anniversary cosmetics, including capes, were made available for both Java and Bedrock.
- The MCC competition series is largely composed of content creators who regularly play Java Edition, and the same can be said for fans who watch them battle it out.
- Many Java fans have felt maligned lately about the belief that Mojang has favored Bedrock over the game's original edition, which may spur the developer to keep the trend of dual-edition anniversary cosmetics going.
- Mojang has gone through several efforts in recent patches and updates to bring the parity of Java and Bedrock closer together. If the developer wanted to keep consistency with this, making the cape available on both editions would be one surefire way to do so.
- Java and Bedrock Edition are sold together in a bundle to encourage players to enjoy both editions. However, some fans have still only purchased Java and have no urgency to get Bedrock as well. It seems a shame for dedicated Java players of several years to be snubbed just because they don't have access to the MCC Party server since it's a Bedrock exclusive.
- For players who went through the effort of completing all 15 MCC Party challenges, giving them the cape across both editions seems fair.
While all of these reasons don't confirm that Mojang will make the coveted cape available in Minecraft: Java Edition, they do lend some credence to the speculation that it will happen.
Perhaps after the MCC Ender Cup takes place July 27, the developer will be willing to make a decision on the matter and give fans some form of confirmation for their speculations.
