Minecraft gets new features added to it with each new update. The Tricky Trials update added a bunch of exciting items, from the bogged to the mace. But around three years ago, Mojang Studios released the Caves and Cliffs update, which was supposed to bring one crucial item to the game; the bundle. However, even after waiting for years, players got nothing, as a final version of bundles was never released for the game.

But after four years of waiting, following the announcement of the Caves and Cliffs update, players will finally be getting bundles in Minecraft. In the recently released Minecraft Monthly video on YouTube, Mojang Studios announced that bundles will be returning the Bedrock Edition with upcoming Beta and Preview updates. This comes days after the release of the Tricky Trials update.

A user by the name of JoeFly2009 shared an image on the game's subreddit and announced the news to the community:

Reacting to this pleasantly surprising news, one user, PowerPork, commented:

After a long wait, the Caves and Cliffs update will get all the features it was supposed to add to the game. Another user, Unusual-Bandicoot-19, asked whether it is only available for the Bedrock Edition:

User TheWinner437 replied, saying that bundles have been in the Java Edition for years and players were waiting for it to be added to the Bedrock Edition, the more widespread version of the game.

But the bundle being in Java does not mean all players can play it. A user named ethanbeez mentioned this, saying that bundles were an experimental feature, which means players had to turn on the experimental mode to use it.

A user, pyro3_, also commented, saying that Mojang Studios plans to eventually add the bundles to both versions of the game. However many were not happy with the video announcement. User Parov0zik commented that they watched the video and realized how it was 90% advertisement for DLC and just "10% good news."

User RyanBits agreed, adding they do not like how Mojang Studios delivers Minecraft news and would prefer an unscripted presentation where they just talk about the feature.

The reason Mojang Studios took so much time adding bundles to the game was that they were trying to make it intuitive to use. But a question that lingers is whether upcoming features in the future updates will take a long time or not.

Players want the developers to add new, unique items to the game soon. With that being said, bundles in Minecraft have taken a long time to arrive, and we will have to wait and see if they do this time around.
