Bundles in Minecraft were announced several years ago but have not yet been officially added to the main game. However, Mojang Studios recently added it to the Bedrock Edition as an experimental feature in beta in preview version 1.21.30.23. They also announced that it will be arriving officially in an incremental update, as they have fixed most of the issues it had over the years.

Here is how bundles could solve Minecraft's inventory issue that players have been complaining about.

Ways in which bundles will solve Minecraft's inventory issues

Keeping inventory clean while looting

It is safe to say that when players roam around a new Minecraft world and collect all kinds of items, their inventory can fill up extremely quickly. When they loot any structure, they will find loads of singular valuable items that will take one inventory slot.

In such cases, bundles will be massively useful since they can hold a stack worth of items, whether they are of the same kind or not. Players can simply loot and keep all the singular items in the bundle, which will only take one inventory slot.

They can create multiple bundles, each filled with items they picked from various structures and biomes. Simply hovering over the bundle will show players which kind of items are in it.

When players pick up various items from the ground, the game randomly places them in inventory slots. Having to find a singular item from the randomized clutter generates annoyance when they are sharing resources.

With bundles, this issue is massively resolved since players can simply fill the bag with all the items, and then throw it in the world as a single item. That bundle can then be picked up by another player, who can access all the items inside.

Bundles will make sharing items between players and picking various items from the ground much more streamlined.

Certain types of items in one bundle

Using bundles, players can categorize the items they collect according to their type. Some are food items, while others are ores that can be smelted or used later. Hence, these kinds of items can be organized more cleanly through bundles.

Players can keep each type of item in one bundle and keep them in separate corners of the inventory to know exactly which kind of items are present in which bundle.
