How to claim Creaking mask and Creak emote in Minecraft

Mojang recently released The Garden Awakens Drop for Minecraft which adds a new Pale Garden biome, Creaking mob, and several new building blocks. To further promote these features, Mojang started a community challenge related to the features itself. Anyone who plays the game can participate in the challenge and even if they don't, they will receive the reward for free. One challenge offers players a Creaking mask, and the other rewards them with a Creak emote.

Here is how to get a Creaking mask and Creak emote in Minecraft. It is worth noting that both these skin customization is only available in Bedrock Edition.

First, you must understand what the community challenges are from Mojang. After releasing The Garden Awakens Drop, Mojang asked players to place 50 million blocks of resin and kill 75 million Creaking mobs. These were the two challenges that every player could participate in.

Out of the two challenges mentioned above, players had to place 50 million blocks of resin to get the Creak emote, which has successfully been achieved. Hence, Mojang has now rewarded every player with the emote. Here is how you can redeem the emote in Bedrock Edition:

1. Open the Dressing Room from the main menu.
2. Select 'Emotes' from the left panel.
3. Find the Creak emote from the list of emotes that are not yet owned by you.
4. Press the 'Get' button to own the new emote.
5. Select it again and press the 'Equip button to use it in the world.

While the Creak emote has been unlocked, the Creaking mask is not yet rewarded. This is because the player base has not yet killed 75 million Creaking mobs in total. Most recently, Mojang themselves released a post saying that 50% of the goal has been reached. This means that players will soon be rewarded with a Creaking mask.

Here is how you can get the Creaking mask once it is rewarded to players:

1. Open the Dressing Room from the main menu.
2. Select 'Edit Character'.
3. Head to Face Items from the Styles drop-down menu.
4. Find the Creaking mask from the list of masks that are not yet owned by you.
5. Press the 'Get' button to own the new mask.
6. Press the 'Equip button to use it in the world.

You can also help the community reach the goal by killing as many Creaking mobs as possible.
