Minecraft previews only recently arrived on PlayStation consoles, and they have a slightly different download approach as a result. Instead of navigating your console dashboard, you can access previews from within the base PS4 game itself. Fortunately, this isn't particularly difficult. You can access the preview using the steps below:

If you're enjoying Minecraft on Windows 10/11, downloading preview 1.21.30.23 can be slightly different depending on whether you currently have a preview installed or not. All of these options can be completed with these steps:

  1. If you have a preview installed already, open the Microsoft Store application on your PC, navigate to your library, and click on the Games button. The list of games should show Minecraft Preview, and you can tap the "Update" button on its listing. If it hasn't appeared, you can also click the "Get Updates" button to fetch the update from Microsoft's servers.
  2. If you don't have a prior preview installed, open the Minecraft Launcher and select the Windows edition from the game list to the left. Tap the button that reads "Latest Release" to the left of the green "Install/Play" button and select "Latest Preview" instead. Then, press the green "Install" button.

When you're downloading previews on mobile devices, access is handled either through the Google Play Store or the Apple TestFlight program. Either way, the process is relatively easy, though you may have to be patient on iOS as signups for previews are limited. Whatever the case, these steps will help you access the preview on mobile devices:

  1. On Android, open the Google Play Store and then the store page for the game. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap the text link under a section that reads "Join the Beta". This will replace your base game app with one that facilitates the preview instead.
  2. On iOS, begin by downloading the Apple TestFlight app from the App Store if you haven't already. Then, use your web browser to open the TestFlight page for the preview. Sign up for the preview using your Apple account information, and you'll receive an email from TestFlight. Open this email and tap "Open in TestFlight". If you're a new tester, tap "Accept" and then click on the install button. If you already have a preview installed, you can tap the "Update/Open" button instead.

That's all there is to it! Once you've downloaded Minecraft preview 1.21.30.23, you can keep it updated automatically on most platforms save for Windows PCs, which still use the Microsoft Store application to update the game manually.
