Minecraft is one of those rare games that allows players to push their creativity beyond the limits of a game and make some truly astounding things. From building fictional cities with the utmost detail to complicated machines like computers and calculators with working displays, the simple generative game of blocks can create wonders. And now, another thing has been added to the list of wonderful things made in Minecraft; the largest map art ever made in survival mode.
A Minecraft player and Reddit user by the name of I-Am-Bored-As-Hell shared an image on the subreddit of the game showing a map art they created. The artwork shows the main character of the popular manga and anime series Berserk created by Kentaro Miura. It features Guts and his love interest, Caska. Considering that it is a map art in Minecraft, the detailing and accuracy are beyond impressive and astonishing.
Reacting to the post, a user named hxgox commented:

“How is that even possible? I don't believe you! I mean, I'm so impressed!”
User NoSignigicance24 commented that the painting was incredible while WormOnCrack said that the artwork shows great dedication. It takes a different level of patience and perseverance to make something like this.
The original poster also made a comment giving some crucial details about the build. They mentioned the size of the artwork is 40 x 30, which encompasses 76,800 chunks and 19660899 blocks. What makes it even more impressive is that it was made in survival mode, on a grief-enabled Hardcore server. The user also said they wanted to record a timelapse video, but could not make it.
But not just fans of the manga and anime series, but people who had no idea about the show were also impressed by this creation. User derfloh42 commented that they had no idea who these characters were, but they loved the artwork. Another user named CBT7commander said that this post deserves more upvotes than it already has.
Excellent Minecraft builds
This is not the first time someone has built something wonderful in Minecraft. Recently, another player shared an image of a 1:2 scale replica of Mt. Everest that they made inside the game. This structure has many features from the real thing that players can explore, and even climb the mountain.
Apart from this, there are other brilliant creations such as fictional cities, castles, functioning computers, and even a Rubik’s Cube. With the Tricky Trials update adding new blocks to the game, it would be interesting to see what new builds players come up with.
