"How is this even possible" — Minecraft player recreates Mount Everest in-game leaving the community amazed

Minecraft players have built some breathtaking structures in this game over time, showing how talented the title's community is. From working computers to large cities, this title has seen some amazing creations. One of them involves a recreation of Mount Everest.

Minecraft player and Reddit user Amon6669 shared some images on the game's subreddit, showing what they had created, and it left the community amazed. The images show a 1:2 scale Mount Everest made inside the game. At first glance, one of the images looks like a picture of the real Mt. Everest.

The user also mentioned that the map that contains this creation also has other mountains, such as Makalu and Cho Oyu, which are 8,000m tall. What’s interesting is that Mt. Everest is made in the most realistic way possible. Players can actually climb it in-game. This is appealing since not everyone is going to make their way up the real thing while subjecting themselves to extreme temperatures and other physical challenges.

Expressing their disbelief at the creation, a user named AdamBomb072 commented:

"How is this even possible."

Another user named OneCore_, commented that the creation was made by downloading a heightmap, importing it to the World Painter, adding texture to it, and then exporting it. The original poster also chimed in, saying it took them 2 weeks and a lot of effort and research to build it.
