Minecraft has beautiful sceneries, from the recently added cherry blossom biome to the snow-capped mountains. One aspect that accentuates this blocky game's aesthetic is the flowers of different colors. But one that stands out the most, and that is the cornflower.

These are the blue flowers that grow along with other vegetation. But unlike all the other flowers in the game, cornflowers were relatively recently added. It was introduced in the Village and Pillage update for 2019.
Cornflowers are specific to only some biomes in the overworld. The three biomes where you can find it are
- Plains
- Mountain meadows
- Forest
Out of all the three biomes, plains are our best bet for looking for cornflowers in the game. Plains are known for their flowers, and whenever you're exploring them, look for a cluster of them. There is a good chance you will find the blue flowers out of the colorful ones. And since its color is quite vibrant, they're quite easy to notice.
Forests are full of different vegetation, like flowers. The problem with this biome is that not only are they very dense, which makes looking for flowers difficult, but they are also quite dangerous. Skeletons and zombies litter the area and make sure you take a powerful weapon like the mace if you plan on exploring it.
Finally, mountain meadows can be found near large mountains and are usually filled with flowers of different kinds, including cornflowers. Mountains are easy to find due to their size and you do not have to climb them; just look around and you will find the flowers.
Coming to finding the flowers, the best method is simply running around and exploring the biomes. This is the recommended way as it helps you find even more interesting items in the game, such as the villages from which you can get maps for trial chambers.
The other option is using third-party services such as Chunk Base which can be used to find nearby biomes. Use this method only if you specifically need the cornflower as Chunk Base can take away the element of exploration from Minecraft.
