One of the best ways to get more dirt in Minecraft Skyblock is to trade with piglins. Once you have the Nether unlocked, head over there and trade with the Piglins. You will need gold ingots to them to barter for other items. Trading with the mob has a ~8.71% chance of giving you a gravel block
Once you have obtained the gravel block, you will need to clone the dirt. Then, craft two dirt and two gravel into coarse dirt. Use your hoe to transform it into regular dirt and then break it to obtain free dirt.
2) Using Lava
Lava is one of the most popular starter items you get in Minecraft Skyblock. Lava can be used to get more dirt in a unique way. Combining lava with water will give you stone. You can then combine stone with moss and bonemeal to get more moss and azalea.
Once obtained, use bonemeal on the azalea to get an azalea tree and rooted dirt. The rooted dirt will eventually yield a dirt path which can be converted into dirt by placing a block with a solid material (like wood) on it.

3) Wandering Trader
Once you have expanded your world enough to get mobs, you can purchase podzol from a Wandering trader to get more dirt in Minecraft Skyblock. You can then use a shovel on the podzol to turn it into a dirt path. Place any solid block on the dirt path to convert it into dirt.
Additionally, you can also purchase moss from the wandering trader and obtain podzol from converting a moss block. You can keep farming these as long as you have a steady supply of water, moss, lava, spruce saplings, and bonemeal. Remember that your skybase must be more than 23 blocks long so that you can go far enough to spawn mobs.
4) Podzol farm
Podzol can also be farmed to get more dirt in Minecraft Skyblock. For this, you need four spruce saplings. Place four saplings in a square and make sure no other item is touching the base of the plants. Now, bonemeal one of the saplings and wait for it to grow.
A grown spruce tree will generate a 5-6 block radius of podzol around it. You can now use this podzol to farm dirt as long as you have a steady supply of the items mentioned above.
