How to get Minecraft MC Championship cape

The Minecraft Championship's Ender Cup is rapidly approaching, so Mojang and the tournament organizers at NoxCrew are kicking off an entertaining Bedrock Edition server called MCC Party. The server allows fans to sample the upcoming Ender Cup minigames while also reimbursing the currency they get from them to collect cosmetics, including an MC Championship 15th Anniversary cape.

But how exactly can you get this new cape for Minecraft Bedrock? The process is simple, but it will take some time and require you to participate in the MCC Party server taking place from July 22, 2024 at 10:00 am PST to August 4 at 3:00 pm PST.

From July 22, 2024, to August 4, 2024, you can access the MCC Party server from the Minecraft Bedrock main menu on your console, PC, or mobile device.

By joining this server, you'll gain access to several minigames that will be featured during the Ender Cup, including the likes of Grid Runners, Sands of Time, Ace Race, and Meltdown. Completing sessions of these minigames will award you with in-game currency.

After accruing enough currency (though the total hasn't been detailed by Mojang or NoxCrew), you can head to the shop within the MCC Party world to purchase the MC Championship cape and many other cosmetics. These cosmetics include Ender Cup team hats, toys and gadgets, and even consumable food items that can bestow quite unusual status effects.

Competing in the Minecraft x MCC Party minigames will be necessary to obtain the MC Championship cape, as players will need to complete all 15 MCC Party challenges listed on their Challenge List item to acquire the cape, and many of these challenges will require players to perform certain cumulative actions in the minigames while wearing a purchased MCC Team Beanie.

The lone exception is the mystery cave challenge, which will require players to log in and find a hidden cave on the server. This cave will debut a new cave painting each day for seven days until July 29, and players must use these paintings to solve a puzzle. Only one puzzle can be solved per day, so players will have to log in and complete a puzzle for seven days to complete the mystery cave challenge.

It also should be noted that the MCC Party server might require an active online service subscription if you're playing Bedrock Edition on consoles. You'll likely need access to online services like Xbox Live Gold/Game Pass, Nintendo Switch Online, or PlayStation Plus, as online connectivity is required within Minecraft to play on the MCC Party server.
