How to get the Minecraft Trial mask

Mojang Studios finally released the Minecraft 1.21 Tricky Trials update on June 13, 2024, bringing loads of new features like new trial chambers, trial spawners, vaults, breeze mob, mace weapon, and more. Soon after its release, the developers wanted to celebrate the update even more. Hence, they decided to give out free character creator items in Bedrock Edition.

They first introduced the new Trial Top which players can claim through Minecraft Bedrock Edition's marketplace. The second free item they introduced was the Trial Mask. Here is a simple guide to obtaining the free skin customization item.

Steps to get the new Trial Mask item in Minecraft Bedrock Edition

1) Accept the quest on discord

First, you need to open the Discord app on any device and activate the quest from it. When the application opens, you need to head to the main settings and search for the gift inventory tab.

This is where the new Minecraft Trials Quest will show up, which will allow you to claim the new Trial Mask. The quest's details will explain how to claim the reward. You simply need to click on Accept Quest to activate it.

2) Find a server and join a voice channel with a friend

After accepting the quest, you need to enter any voice channel on any server with your friend. Make sure that the voice channel you have joined permits you to stream anything from your device.

3) Start streaming Minecraft

Once everything is ready, you can start sharing your screen on the voice channel and open the game on your device. This will essentially stream the game on your friend's discord.

To get the new Trial Mask on Bedrock Edition, you need to stream the game for your friend for at least 15 minutes. The discord quest will count the minutes you have streamed the game and accordingly unlock the Trial Mask for you.

It is worth noting that this quest expires on June 27, 2024. Hence, you need to stream the game for 15 minutes before that.

How to redeem the Trial Mask for Minecraft

Once you stream 15 minutes of the game for a friend, you can head back to the gift inventory tab in settings and find a 25-digit code.

This code needs to be input on the game's official website. Find the redemption page on the website where every redeemable item can be unlocked, and scroll down to the very bottom to find the new Trial Mask Redeem section. Simply input the redeem code and submit it to get the skin customization on your account.

Finally, you can open the game, head to the dressing room area, click on the Edit Character button, open the Styles menu, choose Headwears, and find the new Trial Mask. This is exactly where the new mask will be available once the quest is completed.
