Minecraft boasts a nearly endless map to explore to your heart's content — "nearly" being the keyword. The game has four world borders that stop players from venturing forward. These appear as massive walls with blue glints. Although Mojang has patched various methods that previously made it possible to cross the world border, one still remains intact.
Here is how you can get beyond the world border in Minecraft.
Steps to cross the world border in Minecraft
1) Activate cheats in the world

First, you must activate cheats for the world in which you are trying to go beyond the final border; there's no other alternative. Almost all the tricks have been patched by Mojang as they continue to update the game.
Hence, you can either create a new world and enter it in creative mode to use cheats, or open an existing world to LAN from the pause menu and briefly use commands on that world till it is open.
2) Head to the world border
After activating cheats, the first task is to get to the world border. Some players have done so by traveling from the Nether or even simply walking. However, this can take years to execute. Hence, the simplest way to get to the border in a Minecraft world is to teleport your character to it.
Simply type the teleport command, followed by your username, and type 29999872 on either the X-axis or the Z-axis. The Y axis should be something high, so you don't spawn underground. Remember — to do all this, you need to activate cheats.
Once you teleport, you will quickly notice the massive wall of blue glint, which is the world border itself.
3) Enter spectator mode to go beyond the world border
The only way to go beyond the world border in the latest version is to go into spectator mode with the "gamemode" command and fly through it. Players can simply type "/gamemode spectator" and fly across the world border. Then, they can either re-enter creative or survival mode to see what happens to their character.
Though terrain and biomes continue to generate beyond the border, the game reads it as void and starts giving players damage if they are in survival mode.
In contrast, players can freely walk around the area beyond the world border in creative mode. However, another invisible wall will stop them from going past the 29,999,999 mark on either the X or Z axis.
