While downloading and installing the Cocricot mod is simple and quick, there are some additional processes to get it running. Before installing the mod, make sure you have Forge, OptiFine, and JustEnoughIDs. You need the first to run most of the mods in the game. Note that JustEnoughIDs is only required if you get the mod pack along with the resource pack.

The rest of the Forge is necessary to run any mod. OptiFine is required to run the mod smoothly on your computer. Let’s get into the steps of installing the mod.

• Download the mod file from Cocricot’s official website. Install Forge and OptiFine before downloading the mod file.
• While downloading, select the “Resource Pack and MOD” to get all of the items in the mod.
• On the Windows home screen, search for “Run” and then type in “%APPDATA%” and then hit enter.
• This will open a folder. Look for “.minecraft” and then the folder named “mods.”
• Open the downloaded mod file from the downloads folder and extract it. Find the file with .jar in the end. Move this file to the “mods” folder.

You must also install the resource pack. Here are the steps you need to follow.

• Launch the game and from the title screen, head over to Options>>Resource Packs>>Open Resource Pack Folder.
• In the Resource Pack folder, move the downloaded Cocricot resource pack zip file in this folder.
• Click on “Done” after placing the zip file and then open the Resource Pack options again.
• This time, you will find the Cocricot zip file in the available resource packs tab. Select it and click on “Done.”
• You will notice that the UI changes. This will confirm that the resource pack has been installed properly.
