In Minecraft, when you travel around its nearly endless map, the game automatically generates chunks with progressively generated terrain and biomes. A certain amount of chunks generate around you in a radial form. The render distance setting increases and decreases that radius. The loading and unloading of chunks can be hindered on a device.
Hence, the modding community has come up with mods that can pre-generate chunks whenever a world is loaded. These mods massively reduce any stutters that might take place while exploring the world. If you want to pre-generate chunks, check out and download Chunky; here's a short guide about the mod.
Everything to know about the Minecraft Chunky mod that pre-generates chunks
What is the Chunky mod for Minecraft?
Chunky is a popular mod that, in simple terms, pre-generates chunks with the help of various new-chunk-rendering features. The mod also allows multiple chunk generation if you have enough CPU power. It can also automatically pause chunk generation for better efficiency.

How to download Chunky mod for Minecraft
1) Install Forge/Fabric modding API

First, you need to have Fabric or Forge API installed, which allow mods to run on Minecraft. Without these, none of the mod would work. Since Chunky is available for both Forge and Fabric, you can download any one of them. Make sure to download the API compatible for 1.21.3, since that is the latest game version Chunky mod is updated to.
Both APIs can be downloaded from their respective websites and can be installed quite easily. After installing, a modded game version would appear in the official game launcher.
2) Download Chunky mod for Fabric or Forge

After modding APIs, download the Chunky mod from CurseForge. Head to the modder's profile to choose between Fabric's and Forge's versions. Simply search for the 1.21.3 compatible mod and download the .jar file.
After downloading, the mod file needs to be copy-pasted into Minecraft's game directory, which should be C:\Users\admin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft. In the game directory, the mod must be pasted in a mods folder. If there is no mods folder, create one.
2) Open the official game launcher and start the modded version

Finally, open Minecraft's official launcher to check whether Forge's modded version 1.21.3 shows up in the version list. Furthermore, if the mod is correctly placed in the game's directory under the mods folder, the Chunky mod will work perfectly once you open the game and enter a new or existing world.
