Mojang recently released a new pre-release 1 version for the Minecraft 1.21.2 Bundles of Bravery update. While the developers fixed several smaller issues with the update before its release, they also changed features related to the upcoming new Creaking mob and Pale Garden biome. Interestingly, they made changes to the creaking heart so that it can now interact with a redstone comparator uniquely.
Here is everything to know about the new connection between creaking heart and redstone comparator and other components in Minecraft.
Creaking heart now works with redstone comparator in Minecraft

Creaking heart is a new block and, as the name suggests, is essentially the Creaking mob's heart. Players will not be able to kill the new creature with any melee or ranged weapon. This is because it will simply negate the attacks by taking back health from its source block. Hence, the creaking heart needs to be found and destroyed in order to kill the Creaking.
The creaking heart can be found buried deep in several pale oak trees that generate in the Pale Garden biome.
Creaking heart's connection with a redstone comparator
In the latest 1.21.2 pre-release 1 version, Mojang added support for redstone comparators in creaking heart block. This means that the new block can now send redstone signals which can be detected by a redstone comparator. However, the strength of the redstone signal sent out by the new block varies interestingly.
When tested with redstone lamps, it was discovered that the redstone signal's strength depends on how far or close the Creaking mob is from its heart block. If the new mob is right beside its block, it will give out 15 units of redstone signal. However, if it is far off, the redstone signal will be weak and only one redstone lamp will light up as a result.
If players test this in survival mode — take the Creaking far away from its source block and then return back to the creaking heart — they will notice how more and more redstone lamps will illuminate. This is because the Creaking behind the player will also chase them and in turn come closer to its heart, increasing its redstone signal.
