Minecraft's new Pale Garden biome was recently announced by Mojang and will arrive in the Winter drop or update. This new region was showcased by the developers in their annual live event where they also introduced the new Creaking mob that will spawn in it. This new creature makes it tricky for players to explore the new biome.

That said, there is an extremely safe way to explore and loot the biome and take all the resources it has to offer without even lifting a weapon.

The safest way to loot Minecraft's new Pale Garden biome

The Pale Garden biome spawns the new Creaking mob that will chase players when they are not looking at it on their screen. Furthermore, the Pale Garden also spawns other hostile creatures like zombies, creepers, and skeletons that will naturally spawn in the region.

Though dealing with both old and new hostile mobs separately is easy, if they attack at once, even the strongest players could feel it challenging. Hence, looting Pale Garden during the night is risky business.

The safest way to loot Pale Gardens is to explore it during the day

Because of the aforementioned problem, visiting the new Pale Garden biome during the day is the safest way to explore it in survival mode. In this manner, players can explore the Pale Garden freely, gather new pale wood blocks, save them for later use, and take in the strange silence of the region in its entirety. There won't be any hostile mobs in the area during the day because even the Creaking spawns only at night.

In addition, if they discover any in pale trees, they can also destroy and obtain the creaking heart block. By doing this, they can slightly increase the Pale Garden's nighttime safety as the Creaking will not spawn if its heart is not positioned between two blocks of pale oak logs.

The Creaking mob does not drop any loot

Another major reason why players should avoid looting Pale Garden during the night is because the new Creaking mob does not drop anything upon death. When players break the creaking heart, the creature will simply disintegrate and not drop any XP or items. Explorers will only get the creaking heart block, which can also be found and mined during the day.

Hence, there is no real benefit to looting new blocks of the Pale Garden at night.
