Minecraft has three different dimensions: Overworld, Nether, and End. As you progress in the game, you will need to venture from the Overworld, to the Nether, and then to the End to finish its story. Although dimension-hopping is done through Nether and End portals respectively, there is a method to instantly teleport to any of the three.

Here is a short guide on how to instantly teleport between Minecraft dimensions using commands.

Steps to instantly teleport between Minecraft dimensions

1) Activate cheats in a wold

First, you must activate commands in the world in which you want to teleport between dimensions. This can be easily done in both existing and new worlds.

If you have an existing world, you must head to the pause menu, click on "Open to LAN" tab, and toggle "Allow Commands" on. After this is done, click on "Start LAN World" and you will be able to enter commands freely, until the world is closed and reopened.

If you are creating a new world, you can simply toggle the "Allow Commands" button in Minecraft on for it to continuously work in it.

2) Use execute command to teleport

After you activate commands, you must use the /execute command, which essentially allow you to run other commands in any dimension.

Hence, the first few inputs will be to ask the game to execute another command in the realm to which you want to teleport to. The next set of inputs will be a simple teleport command that runs in that particular realm.

The command line should look something like this /execute in minecraft:the_nether (or minecraft:the_end, minecraft:overworld) run tp ~ ~ ~.

You can choose any of the realm and then run a teleport command in it. After the tp command, you can either use the symbol in the aforementioned command line to teleport to the exact coordinates you are standing on, or you can type out the XYZ coordinates in numbers to teleport to a specific location.

One thing to remember is that when you teleport directly to another realm, there are high chances that your character will either be stuck deep in the ground or will fall to the void in the End realm. Hence, the best way to get out of the situation is to switch to spectator or creative mode.
