Texture packs are one of the coolest aspects of Minecraft. These are, as the name suggests, packs of community-made textures that can then replace all of the vanilla game's textures. This allows players to quickly and freely jump between different aesthetics and vibes. While the easiest way to get texture packs is through the official Marketplace, it's also possible to use packs from other places.

Everything you need to know about utilizing custom texture packs for Bedrock 1.21 is detailed below.

How to use Minecraft Bedrock 1.21 texture packs

The first thing you'll need to do to use a custom Minecraft texture pack is track one down. There are plenty of places to check for Bedrock texture packs, including websites like CurseForge, PlanetMinecraft, and resourcepack.net. Make sure that the texture pack downloaded is a .mcpack file, as this is the Bedrock texture pack file type.

2) Install the texture pack

Installing texture packs on Bedrock Edition is quite simple. Mojang has aimed to make the process as easy as possible. All you need to do is double-click on the .mcpack file. This should open the game, which will automatically import and then install the texture pack.

This process is easiest on a PC but can also be done on mobile devices, assuming you're able to download a file-explorer app. As with PC Bedrock, the game should automatically open and import the pack.

3) Add the pack to a world

Now that the texture pack is installed, you'll need to enable it for a world. This can be done by entering a world's Minecraft settings and scrolling down to the resource packs section. All installed texture packs will appear in the list of available packs and can be turned on by hitting the activate button on the right side of the screen.

From here, create a new Minecraft survival world or join the one you edited. You should be able to tell if the texture pack is working as intended, just by looking around spawn. Assuming the pack is working, you're free to play. If it's not working, try reimporting the pack. If that still fails, the texture pack might be outdated, and you'll need to find another one to try and install.
