Structures are some of the most important parts of any Minecraft survival world. They offer players incredible loot, such as enchanted books, weapons, armor, diamonds, food, potions, totems of undying, and more. They often also contain unique mobs that cannot be found elsewhere in the game. However, as important as they can be, many structures are incredibly hard to find.
Thankfully, there are tools online that make tracking down any structure a breeze. Everything players need to know about using structure finders for Bedrock can be found below.
How to use a structure finder for Minecraft Bedrock
1) Open a seed viewer
Chart New Territories with the ultimate Minecraft Seed Generator!
There is no shortage of Minecraft seed viewers available online. One of the best and most reliable is ChunkBase.
This website can display biomes and structures for Bedrock seeds, as well as regular and large-biome Java seeds. This is handy for determining how the same seed can differ between versions.
2) Enter a seed
Once you've pulled up a seed-viewing website, you'll need to input a seed. Most websites have a random button if you want to find a new world.
If you want to find structures in your current world, however, you'll need to find its seed. This requires launching the game. Then, hit the "Play" button to see your list of worlds. Find the one you want to search in, and hit the pencil icon next to it. Scroll down until you see your world's seed.
3) Select structures
Now that you've loaded your world up on the seed viewer, it's time to select which structures are labeled. While it's possible to set all structures to display, this can make the map incredibly cluttered, so it's recommended to only search for a few things at a time.
ChunkBase makes it very easy to see structures, as many common ones are loaded in by default. This includes villages, ancient cities, desert temples, Minecraft woodland mansions, and more.
You can even search for specific biomes. This will cause the map to gray out, with only the specific regions being colored in. Rare biomes, like Minecraft mushroom islands and eroded badlands, are much easier to spot this way.
4) Scan the map
Once you have selected the structures and biomes you want to search for, it's time to actually scroll around on the map. Clicking on a Minecraft structure will show its exact coordinates, which should be noted down.
Additionally, hovering the mouse over an area will give coordinates, which makes it easy to get the exact location of rare biomes.
5) Check in game
Now that you've written down some coordinates, you'll want to actually load into the game and make sure that they're accurate. Use the same pencil icon mentioned in step two to access the world's settings.
There should be a "Show Coordinates" button beneath the seed, which will make finding the locations mentioned on the seed viewer much easier.
