"I thought these pictures were of real life": Minecraft player creates realistic battleship leaving community amazed

Minecraft might seem like a game that lets players do basic things like gathering resources, finding rare items, growing crops, farming animals, and fighting dangerous mobs but it is way more powerful than that. The game's biggest appeal is how it provides a unique canvas for everyone to create things. Be it large gothic castles or entire fictional and real cities to complicated machines such as computers and calculators, everything can be made in the title.

And now, a Minecraft player and Reddit user, u/Speelicious, has created something that has shocked the community. The user shared a couple of images on the game subreddit that seem to not belong there. They show two ships; one is a military ship and the other is a flight carrier. At first glance, it is hard to believe that these are created with simple blocks and are not the real deal.

Reacting to this realistic battleship build, user u/Carlife0830 commented:

While Redditor u/adamex_x said that they thought the images were advertisements, another user u/AdSuccessful757 joked that the original poster is making a lot of money from the World of Warship game, as they have sponsored this post. This is a reference to how many videos on YouTube are sponsored by the aforementioned title and how the images show warships.

User u/soggy_tarantula said that they would like to see the same build in the Vanilla game without the use of shaders. This is important as shaders such as BSL shaders make the game look realistic. The lighting in the Vanilla version would look terrible and not even remotely realistic.

Another Redditor u/MaleficentActive5284 said that the Vanilla version would not even show the build due to the low render distance.

User u/Competitive-Mud-4858 asked the original poster about the shader or resource pack they were using for the ocean, as it clearly looks like something out of the game. The original poster replied saying that it's made in a render program. While they did not specify which one, it is likely they have used Blender to create other scenes in the image.

This is not the first time someone has created something impressive in the game. Recently, another user created a large gothic castle that was beautifully built even from the inside. Players can move inside, explore the castle, and even make a base inside it. It just goes to show all the possibilities in Minecraft and how it fosters creativity.
